I suggest reading note 52 and all it's replies (which explains transfering files and de-arcing). Then if you still have questions ask away. It's best to de-arc ("setperate") .ARC files on the ST. ARC files are compressed (usualy about 10-50%) so it makes the download with Kermit much shorter. Arc (or VmsSweep) on the Vax is usefull to look at .ARC files to see if they are of interst to you before downloading. Ray |
