103.0. "Help with PD SERVER" by STOPIT::BADMAN (Laugh ? I almost did.) Mon May 23 1988 16:25

Hello again,

    I put the following query into the USENET conference but got no
    useful responses. Has anyone here used the PD SERVER successfully
    ?

    =======================================================================

    I recieved information about an Atari ST Archive Server on my ST
    newsletter the other day. Trouble is, I can't seem to acces it.
    The text in the newsletter says that the address is :

    netlib@lakesys.uucp

    OR

    netlib!lakesys.uucp@csd1.mi1.wisc.edu

    So I send mail to : DECWRL::"netlib!lakesys ... etc".

    I get a reply from DECWRL saying that the path is not known. Has
    anyone else tried to access this ? Am I doing something wrong ?

    				Jamie.

103.1There was a correctionPANGLS::BAILEYSteph BaileyMon May 23 1988 16:549
    There was a ``correction'' to the path that he gave first. Are
    you using the corrected path?

    Unfortunately, I junked the message with the corrected path, so
    I can't help there. You could try sending mail directly to Marty,
    (Weidmeyer?) and I'm sure he could help.

I have used the server many times in the past. However I am running ultrix
so the path is easy for me. I'll try and find the path through decwrl from a
vms system and post it here.
