71.0. "Anyone have ST_CAD from USENET Atari.Binaries...?" by ASPEN2::BOIKO () Fri Apr 29 1988 05:17

    Recently there was a posting of a program - ST_CAD in the
    Atari.binaries USENET Newsgroup. Has anyone managed to uudecode
    and de-arc this program, and if so, can someone place the .prg file(s)
    in a directory on their VAX and I'll copy them.

    I've been unable to de-arc the st_cad.arc file....

    							Thanks

71.1ST_CAD de-arcs on the STMILRAT::WALLACEFri Apr 29 1988 14:469
    Have you tried de-arcing it on the ST? It de-arced fine for me
    on the ST. I had one arc file recently that wouldn't de-arc with
    VMSSWEEP on the VAX and it de-arced ok on the ST, but I don't recall
    if that was ST_CAD.

    I no longer have ST_CAD on the VAX but if you can't get ARC to work
    on it on the ST then I can up load it for you.

    I too have been unable to de-arc it. Perhaps someone would be kind
    enough to put the two de-arced files on the net.
    Thanks.
    Howard.

    I have an archive of ST_CAD that I ARCed on the ST it has both
    the doc file and the executible. This ARC contains the files originaly

Dear Atari Users,

I have the same problem as in .0 and .4 .It doesn't work to dearc it on the
Atari, Vaxmate and on the Vax (vms5.02).
I have also tried on the Vax with Vmssweep V3.1. The descr. location on the
Enet are all gone, exepted the place of MSDSWS::... but with this Version is
no way.

					thanks for any Hints

    Sounds like you need to one of two things,
    	Run cvtarc on it (ie: $ cvtarc v st_cad.arc)
    		-- or --
    	Use VMS arc instead of vmssweep to dearc it.
