    	I heard about this this morning too Jack.  Someone actually
    	had the perverse pleasure of putting it under a 'things to
    	like today' topic in another notesfile.
    
    	This Aaron character is obviously very mentally disturbed
    	and needs help.....AFTER dealing with the likes of me and
    	other animal lovers....

    Yes, my husband called me this morning after hearing it on the radio. 
    This man is SICK!  I hope he gets the maximum sentence.  These are the
    times I wish I were a judge!

    I read this article also.  It's enough to make you sick.
    
    A few more details that aren't so gory:
    
    The man who did it could get up to five years in prison for unlawfully 
    killing an animal, (hope he gets all five) and he is also being charged
    for cruelty to animals, and assault and battery to his roomate.
    
    Also, the owner also had another kitten (the brother of the one who was 
    killed - both two months old) and he gave it to the Lowell Humane Society
    so nothing would happen to it too.  There's a really cute picture of
    that kitty.   This is how the whole story came out - the Humane Society
    asked him why he was placing the kitty with them.

    For anyone who's interested, I understand that this Sh**head's address

    This is especially difficult to deal with when you have 7 beautiful
    9 week old kittens running around too.  I look at those sweet faces
    and just get sick thinking about that ....oh I can't think of a bad

    	handle all the details....what I've heard here is enough
    	to make me sick to my stomach.
    

the bad thing is that this man is a full-blown sociopath and DANGEROUS.  Five
years in prison won't change that - and therapy, even if provided, probably
wouldn't either....this is a profoundly damaged creature who will, eventually,
damage and/or kill others...human and animal.  They aren't born this way,
they get this way because they are raised by sociopaths.

    I hate to be judgemental but:
    
    ....thank the good Lord I didn't read about it or hear it on the news.
    
    It makes me physically ill to hear of that kind of abuse - I look at
    Sam and what he is going through now because of the abuse (physical
    AND mental) that he suffered for the past 3 or 4 years.  However, he is 
    one of the lucky ones that survived.

    Forget the 5 year jail sentence.  Remove certain parts of his anatomy.

    They let killers of people out after they serve a short sentence,
    cause there aren't enough jails or mental wards around, and besides
    it costs to much money to lock these sicko's up. Really, how much
    time do you think this guy is going to serve? 

    I don't want to make anyone sick or anything, but there was a report
    in one of the Scottish newspapers a couple of days ago.
    
    Details are a bit sketchy but as far as I can remember a man in
    Wales was charged (don't remember what charge he received) with
    killing his neighbours cat by... ripping out it's toungue.  He then
    smeared the cats blood all over the owners downstairs windows.
    
    The cat died I assume from shock and a sever loss of blood.
    
    It just goes to show you, that the sickos are widespread.

    I had a nightmare last night about this story.  What a sick
    b*st*rd to do that to that poor little baby, and to the room
    mate, too.  Having to live with that horrible memory for the
    rest of your life is going to be tough.  I hugged my 4 "kids"
    this morning....
    
    Re .11 - No thanks!  I don't want him near my house, I live
            somewhat close to Bridgewater State.  Well, on the
            other hand, I could always bring him a pie with a
            little "extra" additive in it, and I don't mean a
            saw!!!!

    Personally. I don't read this file to read descriptions
    of atrocities that we can do nothing  about.  Are people planning
    to continue this thread much longer?  If so, I'm leaving until
    it dies down.
    

    I've got to agree with Karen. *I* personally am getting a bit tired of
    seeing it myself.
