2740.0. "I need a home....." by SUBURB::ALLYS () Tue Aug 08 1989 12:48

Hello I have not got a name yet, but I am looking for a home, I
am a little Ginger Tom who is six weeks old. I live in Reading in
the UK. I am not allowed to leave my current home until I am eight
weeks old. My two sisters have both got homes, but nobody seems
to want me. I am very cute and I have learnt to use the Toilet
    all by myself.

If you think you could provide me with a good home then please call
my 'Dad' on 7899 5068. His name is Shaz Ally.

    Dad,

If this doesn't find your *little son* a home, I don't know what will.

Maybe one of the sister's new parents would like to take brother as
well. The old adage *two are more fun than one* might work well here.

    Good luck

    Shaz,

We have seven little terrors at home at the moment, I won't know 'tiil
they all go to their homes (another two weeks plus) but we have had
loads of people who wanted kittens so maybe if we have some
dissapointed potential mummy and daddies then if little ging. tom is
still looking for a loving home then we could point one in your
direction. We've actually had people requesting that we let our cats
have a few more litters to fill the back orders!!!!!! Before anyone
jumps they won't be especially because Whitley, one of the mums had a
dissagrement with a car that has left her a bit wimpy, any more kittens
in the next year or so would be havoc and not very good for her so
they're being done. Any way in a few weeks time I may be able to help.

2740.8** HELP!!!! **SUBURB::ALLYSMon Aug 14 1989 12:3428
Oh yes there was one other thing I am having problems trying to
feed the critters, I've split them up from the mother, but they
    still are not interested.

    I've tried:

Kitten Food - They hated it..

    Whiskas - Too rich

Ready Brek (instant oats) - not to bad on that

Cheap cat food - better, one will eat without force, the other shows
a slight interest, the last is just not interested.

Cheese - they love it !!

There due to go on Sunday, but if there not eaten properly , I'll
have to keep them on longer..

    Anybody got any ideas !!

    Shaz

Try putting some water on the kitten food, and mixing in a bit of
baby food meat. They may not like the dry food cause it is too
hard for their baby teeth right now.

It is best to keep giving them kitten food, not other things, until
they are eating correctly. Better nutrition in kitten food, and
they won't be forming any undesireable food preferences so young.

    shaz,

try going to asda or any large store like that and getting the small
tubs of fish in the fridge.

cant remember what they are called but the crew and maz go/went
    mad on it.

    Phil.

Glad the kitten got a home!!
