4056.0. "Kitty Avail - W/Support Pmts" by MEMIT::MISSELHORN () Mon Oct 08 1990 14:48

    Is there anyone out there who would love to add a kitty but
    can't afford to?

    I currently have to find a home for our niece's young female
    calico kitty (spayed) but would be willing to pay for her care.

    Peaches was abandoned last year at the vet's, 6 months old and
    pregnant. She stayed at the vet's for 4 months and when no one
    wanted her, we worked out an arrangement with our niece to take
    her (we just can't) but with us paying her support and costs.

    Now our niece has been forced to move in with a friend (and
    probably declare bankruptcy due to personal circumstances) and
    the friend wants the cat gone.

    We would be willing to work out the same arrangement with
    someone else so that Peaches can have a nice home. She is about
    1 1/2 years old, smallish and very affectionate although, having
    been shifted around so much, she is timid at first with new
    people.

    If anyone is interested, let me know either by phone or mail.
    My DTN is 223-1690 and my home phone is (508) 897-6065. My
    mail node is MEMIT::MISSELHORN.

    Thanks.

    PS We are also compiling a list of no kill shelters just in case.
        (And I would work the same arrangement with them about paying
        for her support.) Does anyone know how crowded they are right
        now?

    Re - .0 on shelters:

    They are full to the brim!!! My hometown paper had
    20 !!! ads alone for free kittens. Seems this was
    a boomer year for kittens.....
