4026.0. "LOST: Persian-Westboro" by CSSE::ROWEN () Tue Sep 25 1990 21:11

    	Saturday, September 15, my Persian cat "Max" ran out
    and never came home, I've looked all over for him, I would
    appreciate any help. I live in Westboro on 135. Max
    is a cream colored Persian, he has a distinctive feature,
    his bottom eye-tooth hangs over his upper lip & almost
    runs up his nose, he has a clear-colored break-away
    flea color (barely noticable under his fur).

    	Please call my at DTN: 276-8058 or send mail
    at CSSE::ROWEN if you've seen him. Thank you!!

    some suggestions:

      o Put an Ad in the paper
      o Post notes around your neighborhood
      o Ask the kids in your neighborhood to keep their eyes open
      o Ask neighbors to check cellars, sheds, garages
      o Call vets and animal shelters (daily)
      o Call cops/dog pound...just to make sure it did not get hit by
        a car and was picked up

    I hope you find your baby...

4026.4Everybody say a little prayer.WILLEE::MERRITTThu Sep 27 1990 20:0410
    Please keep us posted. I know exactly how you feel because we
    lost one of ours (CAM) in July and have tried all the suggestions I
    mentioned....but he still hasn't come home. It's so hard to
    deal with not knowing what happen to him. You wonder if he is
    being taking care of, still lost or possibly something worse has
    happened. If we could only find out.....

    I wish you all the luck in the world...and I'll say a little prayer.

    Thanks Sandy. You're right, it's the "not knowing".

    Sometimes I feel like giving up, but I never do.
