3894.0. "Stray cat needs a home ASAP" by SITBUL::FYFE () Fri Aug 10 1990 18:01

    A few weeks back a stray cat made her home on my front doorstep.
    I have spent a lot of time looking for a home for this cat without
    success so here is my last attempt before sending her to the pound.

    She is golden yellow in color, short hair, well groomed, and appears
    to be 18 to 24 months old. She is very affectionate and is great
    around my 12 month old daughter (no fears of cat attacks when her tail
    gets pulled). It is obvious to me that this cat has had a previous owner
    as she is right at home with people (read: she is not a snob).
    If I had the facilities I would keep her myself but that is not the case.

    She is also pregnant and appears to be carrying 5 kits. I suspect she
    will deliver in approx. two weeks.

    I can't be having kittens living in my garage for 6 weeks so I need
    a home for this cat pronto.

    If anyone is interested in a very pretty cat please contact me ASAP as
    I will soon be bringing her to the (not so) humane society.

    This is a wonderful animal and I would hate to see it destroyed for
    lack of a good home.

    Doug,

    If you *must* bring her to a shelter, please be sure it is a no-kill
    shelter such as Kitty Angels. Does anyone have their address?

3894.2There has to be an answerTUNER::JENKINSMon Aug 13 1990 20:266
    If I had the room I would take her in a minute. My only suggestion
    would be if you could locate a vet to take her in and find a home for
    her. I will ask around Merrimack and see what I can do.

    The cat has a new home as of today. A woman whose name escapes me at
    the moment (carrol maybe?) has taken her with intent on seeing she
    gets proper care and attention now and when the kits are born.

    And I was just getting used to being greeted at the door each morning

    Hi Pam,

    It is the memorabilia that you, er, left in my office when you cleaned
    out yours.
