3867.0. "ALL WHITE LONG HAIR CAT *FREE" by MAMIE::IVES () Thu Aug 02 1990 17:06

I can't believe I am writing this note... (some day I will learn
    my lesson.)

My mother in law has been feeding a stray kitten for 2-3 weeks.
On occasion she has let the kitten into the house and my father
in law got very angry. He has retired and doesn't want anymore
pets. (They do tie you down when you can go at at minutes notice.)
This kitten has been crossing the road to visit a horse farm across
the street. Those people don't want another cat. My father-in-law
has been chasing it out of the yard every time he sees it. S000...

I went and picked it up last night and bought it home. (I sure you
could have heard Tim hitting the ceiling from Santa Clara.) No more
cats was the word I was given. This kitten appears to be a girl.
ALL WHITE LONG HAIRED CAT. She has a VERY light grey y on the top
of her head starting at the base of her ears in the back and going
for a little way but stopping far short of the nap of the neck.

She appears to eat anything. Purrs up a storm, and used the litter
box. Her age is somewhere's around 12-14 weeks. NO FLEAS, NO EAR
MITES, eyes nice and clear. She comes with a spay/neuter certificate
(thanks Nancy DC) and will deliver within a reasonable distance.

Wish I has pictures of her to show at the feliner dinner tonight.

Any help would be appreciated. Nashua Humane is full and will put
her to sleep and so are the other agencys.

your description perfectly. She had the same *V* and everything.

I'll bet that grey patch disappears as she gets older.

She sounds lovely. I'd just love a long-hair white cat, but, sigh...
the litter boxes are full....the litter boxes are full.... the litter
    boxes are full............

I have been deluged with offers for this kitty. So it was first
    come first serve.

She is really a sweetie. Has made herself right at home. Did you ever
hear/see a kitten with her mouth full of food growl at the other
cats to keep them away? Well this little one did just that this
morning. Mocha and Ming just sat there looking at this adorable white
kitten eating and growling as if to say, w'll just sit here and watch
till she gets over this, what ever is that is the matter with her.
Funny, funny. I laughed all the way to the hospital to get my finger
stitched up because I had a fight with the pull top Wiskas can and it
    won.

Thanks again feliners for your quick replys to this note.

I will let the new owner introduce herself and the white kitty.

I cried, and cried, TEARS OF JOY.!!!!!

I received a note from the new owner of this cat just before I went
to lunch and it was so touching. She is thrilled to pieces with
    this little doll.

Lots of descriptions of all the antics, and cute things she is doing.
One problem arose but that has been taken care of. Just had to
reinforce where the litter box was. She has been a good girl ever
    since.

I have to take something back I said in my note about learning my
lesson. I NEVER will. I have taken in two strays since Mocha and
have found WONDERFUl homes for both. (each one was taken by a
      feline noter)

Thanks to both of those wonderful ladies for their love and caring.

I just love hearing stories about kitties I've rescued. I know
    exactly how you feel.
