3780.0. "KITTENS - NEED HOME or EUTHENASIA - PLEASE!!" by HYEND::D_CRUZ () Mon Jul 09 1990 21:42

Two three month-old Male Kittens will undergo euthenasia in less
than two weeks. They need a home and they need their lives saved.

Here's a quick history. The mother was a Stray my wife picked up
off the side of the road after being hit by a car and left to die. She
was pregnant. We were going to abort the kittens we assumed were dead
from the ordeal suffered by the mother. She was too far along in her
pregnancy and still recovering from the accident to take a chance on
traumatising her any further. We had to allow the kittens to either be
born dead or alive or probably with defects - or have syrgery performed
on her if the delivery were to be difficult.

Four kittens were born, one died three days later and the Mother
and my wife raised the other three healthy kitties. One has been given
a home. The other two could not remain in our home and after weaning
have been removed to a temporary shelter for TWO WEEKS ONLY. We have a
cat of our own and I now have a new Dog. I'm not a cat lover and
cannot tolerate more than one cat in the home. I like animals and have
helped where I could with these little guys - but, their time is
running out and they must have a home or be put down.

One of them, I call Penguin is a Gray Tabby with lots of
personality. He's really cute and likes to be handled, sleeps with you
too - he likes people. He has really nice markings. The other is
Light Gray with little white feet and a narrow white line between the
eyes running down towards the mouth. He's a bit shy.

Anyhow - I don't want to see them put down as much as cats are not
my preference, but I will not have them - and I do, nonetheless, care to
know they will do someone some good. Please try to help us.

    				Save a life.

    P.S.

Our Cat, Dorian Gray, was a stray. Thge new dog, nameless at this
    time is a stray.
