    My former father in law use to tell me he knew how to cut down on cat
    food expenses... get rid of the cats.
    
    
    
    Instead I divorced his son and kept the cats!

    Aren't they lucky we don't get rid of ugly people? Funny looking
    animals always have the neatest personalitys. We used to own the
    ugliest pony I ever saw, big head, long body, short legs, ewe neck, and
    all the kids used to fight over who got to ride her she was wonderful 
    with the littlest to the biggest. A real sweety.

    Just goes to show ya, ya can't always tell the worth of something
    by the appearance of the package.  :-)

    
    When I first got Rusty I thought his face was ugly (side view), but now 
    I think he is sooo adorable.  He still has a baby face and it is
    irresistible.  A few nights back he was sleeping and had his front legs
    crossed over his face.  He looked so peaceful and content.  What a
    baby.

    Thunder, Lightning and DejaVu are three beautiful, graceful kittys. 
    And then there is Patches.  Patches has a black face and black eyes and
    short stubby legs and a short tail and little black dots on her feet
    and is chunky.
    
    But is she ugly????   NOPE !!!!!  She has the sweetest personality and
    the most adorable meow.

    Well, I thought Flame was pretty funny looking until I was his
    "baby" pictures.  Now that was one ugly kitten!!  Having seen
    that I've decided that he turned out to be a rather handsome
    guy.  ;-)

    Your right, Nancy, Flame had a face only a mother could love!  Amazing
    how he turned out!  He's so beautiful now.  
    
    

    Sort of reminds me of a story called "The Ugly Duckling" and we all
    remember how that turned out.  :-)
    

    I wonder if all red kittens start off ugly!

    Welllll, he has big huge eyes, and if by chance he grows up to look
    like either Flame or Bailey or a few other red babies that I know,
    I don't think he will have any problems at all!  He is the busiest,
    brattiest in the litter - he was the first to eat, to use the litter
    box, to walk, to run, to play - he seemed to be about a week ahead
    of the rest of the kids!  He loves to just lay on his back on my
    lap and have his tummy and neck scratched!  He PURRRRRSSSS like
    a truck!  This little guy has a purrsonality that just doesn't quit!
    The whole litter is busy and just CUTE, but this guy, it's gonna be
    hard to see him go to a new home.  He puts his face up to my check
    and rubs!  He's a funny little boy!  
    
    His bluecream (gray) sister is a cutie also - she thinks that she
    is the red boy's mom - she bathes him and pushes him around, and
    teaches him manners, while the 3 creams just sort of take turns
    being goofy!  They are a bunch!  Lordy, when I open the door to
    go in to their room, 3 run out, I grab one, 2 are half way down
    the hall and I'm standing there like a fool laughing!  They are
    really cuties and a lot of fun.
    
    They have had their first shots, and will be getting their second
    in 3 or 4 weeks, and then will be ready to go.  There are still
    3 available:  gray girl (bluecream), Cream girl, and of course,
    last but not least, a red boy !!
    
    I'm still yukking over Lily playing with the gray kitten - she was in
    a carpeted bucket crouching down, Lily came over to the bucket and the
    gray girl popped her head up like a jack-in-a-box, and bopped Lil over
    the head - poor Lil didn't know whether to sh*t or what, just sorta
    looked stunned - so the little gray girl heard me laugh, musta thought
    she did something good, figured she ought to do it again, and did!
    Crouched down in the bucket, Lil peeked over the side, gray kitten
    came up like a shot, and popped Lily on the head again - poor Lil was
    so embarrassed!  I thought I was going to cry I was laughing so hard!

    Yeah so?  I think he's beautiful - every kitten should be as 
    cute as he is and so friendly and fun!
