Actually, it's a blue abyssinian. I'll talk to Meg Lambert this
weekend and see if she knows any European breeders.

"The Ultimate Cat Book" lists both silver and silver sorrel Abys
as being accepted colors, and has a picture of a silver sorrel.
According to the written description, a silver has silvery fur
	tipped in black. Sounds *gorgeous*!

There are silver aby's, but they aren't bred here in the states.
Here we only accept red, ruddy, and blue. Breeders are working
with fawns too, but they haven't been accepted yet. (as per usual,
I am talking about CFA here folks, don't know if any other assocations
    accept silver aby's)

I've never even heard of them, so they are probably not accepted in
CFF. I'm not sure, but I believe that Fawns are accepted in CFF. I'll
    have to check that out.

a European breeder. Because they are not state-side, this is making
the search all the more challenging. If anyone has info I would
    appreciate it.

    thanks,
