3240.0. "2862 + 2881 = happily ever after" by FDCV07::GRAY () Fri Jan 12 1990 19:23

    It's been a while since I put my original note in about
    wanting to adopt a cat, but I have had Cammey (note #2862) with me
    since late September.

    She's been the best thing a person living alone could have! She
    greets me at the door every time, and rolls over and waits to have her
    ears scratched (boy, none of my former roomies would ever do that ;-) ).
    She purrs constantly and has a very musical meow. She wouldn't talk for a
    few days after I got her and was actually a bit aloof, but now she's pretty
    talkative, and she will even come to me and sit on my lap without any
    coaxing. She LOVES company and likes to rub her head against their feet.

    To keep her entertained during the day, I put out bird seed on my
    windowsill, and she watches (and stalks) her bird-pals from the living room
    floor. She especially enjoys pouncing at the bluejays, crashing into
    the window and beating a hasty retreat to her hideout below.

    She sure makes my home a fun place to be!

    I'm so glad Cammie found a home! I had inquired about taking her too,
    but I have a whole houseful that the owner felt might intimidate her.
    I hope the two of you are most happy!
