| For the sheer delight of being contradictory (which he
does just to annoy me ;-), my husband has taken to
calling this phenomena "squishing toads", since he very
logically said that cats just don't knead bread, but they
could very well squish toads. Of course, since I said I
thought it sounded awful, he uses it quite often now! ;-)
Silly me...

N. The sound a 14-week old kitten makes after
burning rubber on your kitchen linoleum
and, being unable to stop, crashing into
the baseboard. Accidentally getting spray
starch on the linoleum while ironing tends
to enhance this effect to near hysterical proportions.

in the am - usually means "i'm hungry" - but sometimes not - sometimes
is done for the shear He-- of it - taking delight in watching owner
open can of food which is refused and which point cat returns to
bed.

P.S. I can't believe she's actually learned to hit the top of the
can opener and make it work. I've had to start leaving it
unplugged so she doesn't do it when I'm not home. Don't want
her to hurt herself either.

| kibble-dust - what your cats leave in the food dish when they will ONLY eat
half of a kibble...no matter how small the kibble piece is, only half
of it is eaten. The other half is dropped back into the bowl...then
the next cat picks it up and eats half of it...eventually, you find all
four cats looking forlornly into the dish - which you discover is full
of kibble-dust....totally inedible because the bits are too small to be
halved.
