Hi..
I just recently moved, and have wanted for a very long time to own a
Maine Coon cat. I had the opportunity this past week to keep one for a
night (it had been left out in the cold for three days and appeared as
though it was abandoned, but we set it loose yesterday and it didn't
come back so i assume it found its way home), and i wanted one even
more than ever before. I was wondering if anyne had any leads on any
kittens available. I live in Boxboro Mass, but am willing to travel to
get one. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you come to the cat show in haverhill this weekend
12/2-3 - I'm sure there will be plenty of Maine Coons at the
show and you can talk to the breeders directly.
I'll look for some business cards I've picked up at other
shows. Also, check the back of Cats & Cat Fancy magazines.
Whatever you do, do NOT buy from a petstore.

I put a note in recently looking for Maine Coon breeders for my vet.
It's note 3041 and it lists some breeders. Also, note 5.xx discusses
Coon cats.

I have to maine coons - both of them are loves and I wouldn't give them
up. I have had many cats through the years, but the maine coons are by
far the one's with the most personality.
