2946.0. "Cat products" by FACVAX::ICS (Gita Devi) Mon Oct 16 1989 12:27

    I was shopping this past weekend and came across a wonderful collection
    of Cat T-shirts, sweatshirts, Nite shirts, tote bags, aprons, infants
    t-shirts and bibs, fabric jewelry, fabric magnets, and catnip bags.

    The items are all hand-made by a woman from Maine who has 13 cats
    in residence. She specializes in using Maine Coon Cats as her models
    (as well as her own kitties). Prices were more than reasonable.

    For those of you in the Eastern Mass area, she'll be back at the
    Filene's Basement/Lechmere Mall in Framingham on November 9-12.

    She also does mail order and charges no shipping fees.

    FYI - most t-shirts were $7 or $8
    	  sweat shirts are $15 adult, $12 kids
          one size fits all nite shirts $10,$15
          Babies items $3 and $4
    	  Aprons $6, or $12 for heavy duty, large
          Tote bags:  tiny $2, 12X14 $6, Gusseted tote $8.50 and Large $10.00

    I have no relation to the woman, but thought the t-shirt designs
    were great and her prices more than reasonable.

    One of her best sellers (and I bought one) is a little Maine Coon
    kitten curled up in a ball, sleeping.

2946.1They are great...WILKIE::IVESMon Oct 16 1989 18:3420
    This woman shows at all most all of the cat shows I have been to.
    She also was at the Deerfield Fair this year. Last winter/spring
    when they had the cat show in Concord, I bought a short sleeve T
    shirt for my grand niece Courtney and it instantly became her favorite
    piece of clothing. (Now 19 months old). That T shirt has been washed
    spilled on, dragged on the floor, and worn a lot and it is as nice
    as the day I bought it. Color (pink) has not faded, or design either,
    the shirt looks brand new.

    This woman also does catnip pillows for $3.00 and they go over big
    at our house. They last a long time. She really makes a qualitly
    product.

    Next on my shopping list is a sweat shirt for Courtney and a large
    canvas carry all bag with cat face printed on it. Gorgeous, and
    think the bag is only $10.

    I am not related to this woman either, but she makes qualitly products.

    Is there a charge for the catalog, or should
    a stamped self-addressed envelope be
    enclosed?

2946.3Every little bit helps...WILKIE::IVESTue Oct 17 1989 17:207
    Karen - I am sure she would appreciate a self addressed stamped
    envelope. Her catalog is not big, just about 4 sheets of printer
    type paper folded in the middle.

    Enjoy

    The PUSSUMS catnip bag is a BIG HIT. I have to pick it up and take it
    away as my two boys go nuts and catnip doesn't usually thrill 'em.
    We found it in one of the kiosks in the Maine Mall in So. Portland, Me.
    They had the tshirts etc. too along with a lot of other unique Maine
    items.

re: .0

Are you sure that address is complete?
Shouldn't there be a street number and street name?
