2901.0. "ADOPT A 6-MO OLD FEMALE WITH SPAY CERTIFICATE" by NETMAN::DISMUKE (Chocolate lips don't lie...) Fri Sep 29 1989 14:12

One female 6-month old kitten for adoption. She is playful and
friendly, loves a warm lap and an empty petting hand. Mom is a
petite domestic grey tiger, father is a large long haired
tortoise-colored (the neighorhood stud...). She is available
immediately - I will provide the spay certificate from FOA (it's
already in process). She has had her kitten shots and is a very
healthy animal. She is an indoor cat and comes with her own litter
box. If you are interested, please call soon. We are in the process of
planning a move and won't be able to take her with us.....

(her name is Merlin - she is magic.....she can make herself appear in
an empty lap before you realize it's empty. She can make her supper
disappear while you are dishing it up, she loves to play in the tub
right after you've used it - she will even play with you while you
    bathe).

2901.2mother cat rejects kitten after day at vetsNETMAN::DISMUKEChocolate lips don't lie...Sun Nov 05 1989 21:0116
Well, the deal just got better. She is now spayed, worm tested, FelV
tested, etc. Since she returned from the vets, the mother cat is
rejecting her. Hissing everytime she comes near and won't share the
house or food and litter. "Merlin" is a wonderful cat, and I can't
keep her. My son has allergies (I was hoping it was ragweed, but it's
cat!) and I can't keep him away from the cats.

Would the woman who wanted to go for a trial run with the cats, please
call me agin. Merlin would love to come visit with Buster (I believe
you said his name was) since her mother doesn't want her around.

    Thanks

The mother cat rejecting her should stop in a few days. It's just
because she smells different, having been at the vet's.
