2839.0. "Beautiful neutered male needs home desperately" by PROMAD::WILCOX (JUDY) Thu Sep 07 1989 14:24

I want to add a reinforcement to note 415.476, regarding a beautiful
neutered male cat who desperately needs a home. My neighbors and I,
who are sharing in feeding him, believe someone just moved out of the
condos where we live and left him, although it's hard to believe
someone who took such good care of a cat would do that. When we took
him to the vet to have him checked, he had no fleas or mites and was in
good health. She gave him shots, since we didn't know when he had last
    had them.

Through the summer, we have managed, since the weather was generally
good. Neither I nor my neighbors can take him, since we both have two
cats already. I just got a companion for my Persian ~3 months ago and
they are just adjusting. I also go away weekends fairly often and
bring my cats to my parents during those times; I couldn't do this with
three. Now that it is getting cooler, I feel just terrible not letting
this beautiful, affectionate cat in. He actually scratches on the
door. He is an outdoor cat but not a wanderer. He is always ourside
our doors, no matter what time of day, with a friendly greeting. He is
one of the friendliest, most endearing cats I have ever seen. I worry
about him every time it rains or when it is cold, because you can see
how badly he wants to come in.

He is 4-5 years old, tri-colored (my neighbor thinks he is a Maine Coon
cat), semi-long haired, and big, with beautiful green eyes. If anyone
wants a wonderful pet, please send mail to PROMAD::WILCOX or call me on
    DTN 276-9680.

    Thanks,

    Judy

Did he ever get a home?

Sorry in the UK I can't do anything to help, but I wish you the
    best of luck.
