2819.0. "PSEUDO-PERSIAN NEEDS HELP!!!" by COMET::RORENW () Fri Sep 01 1989 01:06

         There is a kitty in Colorado Springs that appears to be a persian
    (although I haven't seen her to verify this) that does not have a home.
    She is currently hanging around a friend of mine's apartment. My
    friend posted signs all over and said there has not been a reply. I
    will probably take her in until I can find a home for her. I can't
    keep her because I already have 3 kitties.
         She is said to be grey, white and tan. Her paws are white, and
    she has been declawed. As I said, I haven't seen her so this is
    hearsay. I guess she is small, which means she could be a kitten or
    just small. If anyone is interested or can give me some advice short
    of terminating (humane society) this poor kitty, I would appreciate it.

2819.1I FORGOT...COMET::RORENWFri Sep 01 1989 01:574

         Just to make my message clear, I am looking for someone to adopt
    this poor kitty. Also, will I have a problem finding someone to take
    her since she "looks" like a persian?

    I would think that being an apparent purebred would be an assett.
    By the way - grey, tan and white is "dilute calico" meaning its
    a "she".  You'll know soon enough if she's spayed - I suspect
    she is since most folks who are going to declaw do spay at the
    same time.
      Good Luck
