2731.0. "Two more kittens need a home" by BOXTOP::HARQUAIL (Lightness has a call hard to he) Fri Aug 04 1989 12:27

Last night while walking my dog along the harbor...
To make a long story short, I found two kittens screaming their lungs
out and trying to force themselves thru a fence to get my attention.
I freed them from behind the fence, and they snuggled and pured like crazy?

They now need homes, I will attempt to satisfy any reasonable
request to get them homes, including delivering them. They presently
have no place to stay, and are confined to a dark dreary cellar ;-(
my only option at present.

I think they are both female, they seem very healthy, but on the
skinny side, I'm not sure on thier age, I think they are both from the
same litter (hope there's no more) maybe 2-3 months old? I don't know
if they got dumped or are from a wild litter that is fed by boat owners?
They are extremely friendly and affectionate, I didn't have to do any
coaxing to get near them, and the did not attempt to run away.

One is all black, very mellow, very affectionate and cuddly, seems to be
just happy about every thing, doesn't mind the dog or other kitties, just
wants to relax

The other one is Black and white beautiful, kind of like big patches of
black on white, much more outgoing and aggressive, very playful, but she's
just as affectionate and cuddly, purrs like a motor boat. She is more
curious, and although she seemed to get used to the dog she challenged
him and hissed at him when he got too close.

SO please if anyones interested or knows of anyone, let me know
the cellar is temporary solution, it's not secure, it's not nice either.
I work in Boxboro, and will deliver anywhere in the vicinity. I live
in East Boston, near the airport, so everywhere is on the way.

East Boston! Boy, I thought I had a tough commute from Braintree!

Good luck with the kitties. Let me know if there's anything I can
do to help besides spreading the word. I have applications for
low cost spay certificates which I'll happily provide. You can
give them to the new owners, when you find them, to be sure the
    kitties get spayed.

    Thanks Very Much Nancy,
See everybody hear that? Low cost spay certificate available
for kitten. Nancy I be glad to have 2 of those certificates, if
you'd like to send em interoffice my MS is : BXB1-2/d06, they
    would be muchly appreciated.
RE:Commute I think you have me beat in Braintree, course
that all depends on where you commute to. With the construction
on the central artery, anyone south of Somerville is in tough shape.

    Thanks for spreading the word

Well I think I have a home for the Black one, Now we just have the
Black and white one left and we found out he's a male.
We kind of let him wonder the hall, so he will get patted by everyone
coming and going, but he is very lonely without his sister.
I know thsi file is presently overwhelmed with kitties that
need a home, but if your looking for a black and white one?

    Thanks
