2642.0. "Hours of entertainment..." by MSBIS2::SADLER () Fri Jun 30 1989 16:38

    Ninja's absolute favorite toy is a rubber worm; the fishing
    lure kind. These make great cat toys as long as they are
    carefully washed, and your cat isn't prone to swallowing
    his prey.

    Ninj tosses it into the air wildly, pokes at it with one
    claw, jumps back (these rubber worms can sneak up on you,
    ya know!) then stares it down 'til it becomes meek and humble.
    If I put the worm on Ninja's back, he panics, especially because
    the rubber is kinda cling-y.

    Try this toy with your favorite furry friend today!

2642.1Aluminum on a stringSLSTRN::GKELLERMost of it is / \ and the rest is (Fri Jun 30 1989 16:518
Our kitties favorite toy is a piece of aluminum foil balled up at the end of a
piece of string. They will play with this until they drop. i can get them to
follow me all the way around the house 10 or 12 times. Or if I stand in the
middle of the living room and move it in a circle around me they will do laps
at about 30 miles per hour. When I get sick of playing with them they will
continue playing for hours by themselves.

                      No sissy toys for my two girls!
    Panther's favorite toy is a six foot length of 3/4 inch nylon rope!
    I can make her play follow mummie at high speed all oter the house, and
    run around and around and around when mummie gets tired and stands in
    one spot.

    But this toy has much more fun in it when mummie leaves it on the
    floor. You never know what a sneaky rope is going to do when left
    alone, so panther seldom leaves it alone. She will pick up one end and
    carry it, dragging the rest behind her like a tiger with prey.

    Well when spot sees this rope end following Panther around, she knows
    that ist is up to no good and will pounce on the dragging end!!!:-}

    Panther then (usually) falls flat on her little nose and looks around
    as if to say, "I knew it this thing is dangerous, and should never be
    trusted!!" When Spot wants to really get Panther's goat, she will
    steal the rope and take a nap on it. Even I have trouble moving 13
    pound spot of of anything when she doesn't want to be moved.

    These two are better entertainment than most television !!
