| Sura has had this talent since he was a kitten. He can increase
his mass at will. It happens when he considers he hasn't been fed
enough, and it's his little way of letting you know - he sits on
your lap (or preferably stands for exta efficiency) and increases
mass (and therefore pressure until you either give in or push him
off.
It's just one of those things that cats can do, but refuse to discuss.
Like teleporting... but that's another story (Kimi is the teleporter
of the family).

| And they can gang up with it too! When Mao and Isis decide its
time to get me up the walk across my body and the preferred level.
For Mao that's right across my chest at "nipple-level" and for
Isis its "bladder level". Either one would get a most satisfying
response, together its too much!

If you think a 5 pound cat can apply painful pressure, just
imagine what a 16 pound cat can do!!!! T.C. has to climb
on me every time he sees me lay down. Of course it takes him
10 minutes to find the perfect position to lay!! ;^)

I wanted to reply to this yesterday! I have the same problem
with my Sasha - sealpoint siamese - 6.5/7 lbs - her feet
are killer feet when she sits on me! I can't figure it
out either - I really hate it when she wants to do that,
and she wants to sit on me every night... we go through
this battle - she is very stubborn and we have been
doing this for almost 10 years! The pressure is really
something else!

| nyaaah, nyaaah, nyah, nyaaah, nyaaah...
this is how Milo give _me_ HUGS!! He curls up on my legs and increases
mass to give me hugs before going to sleep. [He's also up to a lean,
leggy 9.8lbs before the hydraulics kick in]
the girls, however, do the dainty feet from hell routine. This is
accomplished by placing all four dainty kitty-feet together in a bunch
and then crouching on a tender spot while gazing with wide-eyed soulful
innocence into the victims eyes and gradually increasing pressure. If
I'm the victim they aim select the bladder or left-collarbone area.
