2151.0. "Interesting Story" by WORDS::STUDLEY () Wed Jan 18 1989 14:15

    I read a small article in last night's Nashua Telegraph which
    I thought you might enjoy. I don't have the article with me,
    but will relate what I can.

    Last Friday night, a man in Wisconsin heard a cat crying outside
    his door. When he opened it, in walked a long haired grey cat.
    It turned out that this was his cat that had been lost for 8
    years!! The cat came in, sniffed around for a few minutes and
    then curled up in what was his favorite chair like he was never
    gone.

    When the cat was lost, they did everything they could to try
    to locate him, put up posters, ad in paper, checked with the
    police and humane society, etc.

    The man and his wife compared photographs of their cat taken
    8 years ago and determined that it definitely was the same cat.
    The only difference was that he had been declawed, proving that
    someone had been taking care of him.

    Maybe there is hope that my Hobo will come home. He's only been
    gone for 8 months!
