1923.0. "House for rent that allows Cats!" by SALEM::DEFRANCO_J () Fri Oct 28 1988 12:36

    Hi Everyone,

I know that people are always looking for places to rent that allow
kitties. Well, I have such a place so I thought I would enter it
here. My rental agent thinks I'm nuts (she won't allow pets) but
what harm can a few kitties do? Probably less than a lot of people
    could do!

FOR RENT - Split Entry House located in Windham, NH.
             - Walking distance to Cobbets Pond
             - 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining
             - 1 and 1/2 bathrooms
             - Dishwasher, Stove, garbage disposal provided
             - Walk-in closet in master bedroom - plenty of closet space!
             - Central vacuum system
             - Large living room with cathedral ceiling and fireplace
             - 2 stall garage
             - 2 zone, forced hot water/oil heat (very efficient)
             - This house is only 2 years old and has a very nice
front and back yard with plenty of trees around it
for privacy and best of all KITTIES are allowed!!

Re .0, I think that is *wonderful*! I'm not looking for a place
right now, but I spent 3 horrible weeks last January trying to find
a place to live where I could bring my 3 cats. I had visions of
the 4 of us living in subcompact car. Finally, I found a place
but I think it's terrible that so many people won't rent to cats.
Cats bring so much joy to so many people's lives they deserve a
place to live, too! It's not fair that only people who can afford
to own their own homes (in this economy) be the only ones who can
    have pets!
