1848.0. "Free to a Good Home - ASAP" by WOODRO::VANETTI () Mon Oct 10 1988 16:44

I have a friend who is currently in college who's parents are moving
to California in the near future (no definate date set yet). He
has been instructed to find new homes for his two cats so I am trying
through DEC chanels before he has to bring them to the humane society.

There is one girl and one boy (both have been fixed). VERY VERY
VERY affectionate and loving cats. I'm not sure exactly how old
but from a guess they are only a couple of years old. They are
house broken, quiet, clean, indoor and outdoor cats. It would be
preferred to give them away together (as they have always been together
and would be less of a shock if not separated) but will give away
    separately if must.

The girl is medium sized mostly black with white chest and paws,
soft hair (not really long but not short). Mail is all black alittle
bigger than the girl (more fit - girl cat is chubby) same style
hair. These cats don't have a name brand they are just muts.

These cats are not the most independent cats I have seen and probably
would be real good around children (will tollorate almost all kinds
of torture). The cats are used to a loving atmosphere and my friend
would like to give them away to a good home.

My name is Paula, my DTN is 264-8999 or my home is (603) 673-1300.
Please call if you are interested, I'ld take them myself but I'm
allergic to cats! If you have more questions I'ld be happy to find
    the answers for you.

BTW, cats are located in Milford New Hampshire and are Free to the
    right home!

Are his parents under the impression that cats are illegal in
    California, or what?

No, they are not cat lovers and they don't want to take them with
them because my friend is staying behind to finish school (and of
course the school won't allow pets in the dorm), and the parents
don't want the added responsibilities (from what I can tell).

But don't ask me about his parents, I already think they are kind
    of wierd anyways!

So do you want to help give them a home, tell your friends if you
    can't take them!

    thank you

    Paula
