1711.0. "ONE MORE KITTEN..." by CAM2::HOWARD () Mon Aug 29 1988 17:35

    			One more Kitten is TOO Many

    	Until recently I was the happy owner (?) of five mature cats.
     Then one day my daughter accepted a stray kitten into our household.
     Due to his energy and general feistiness, he is upsetting all five
     "grownups" and making my life busier than I need or want. So please,
     would someone like to take this adorable yellow tiger, male kitten
     and give him a home?? He is approximately 4 months old and has
     been to a Northboro vet who declared him NEGATIVE on feline leukemia.
     He loves to eat and play, not necessarily in that order. A household
     with children would enjoy his company greatly.

     Please catlovers, help me out!

     Marilyn

1711.1Elmo has arrivedWITNES::MACONEHas anyone seen my Pocket Protector?Tue Sep 06 1988 11:5824
    I adopted Elmo last Friday. I've never had a kitten before, but
    if all kittens had as much energy as this one, nobody would want
    to adopt them. I have not slept since Thursday night!

    Oscar has adjusted just fine to this intruder in his house, and
    he and Elmo love to play together. Portia, on the other hand, has
    decided to act more like Morris the Cat -- "Mother, I can't believe
    that you would have enough nerve to bring this THING into my household.
    It wouldn't be so bad is he wasn't a kitten" Portia just ignores
    him.

    Elmo loves to play interactive games. I will sit and wave a strig
    around and Elmo will chase it. But, as soon as I stop waving the
    string, Elmo has no interest in it. The same with the rest of the
    toys -- throw Mr. Mouse, Elmo will hcase it. Mr. Mouse stops rolling,
    Elmo will stop chasing.

    Elmo also loves to sleep with you. Unfortuneately, Elmo is on the
    schedule of play for half an hour, sleep for 5 minutes. At night,
    Elmo will only play on our bed.

    But, we love him anyway.
