1689.0. "Techni-Cal Cat Food" by STOR06::DALEY () Tue Aug 23 1988 19:22

I was at Farmer's Exchange in Framingham on Saturday. There
was a booth set up selling a new cat food (also introducing
dog food) called Techni-Cal, a low-ash cat food produced in
Canada, and which is being introduced into the USA.

I bought a bag to try out on my 7 cats and they all loved
it - they ate it as if I had forgotten to feed them their
breakfast. I did not compare the ash contents to
of Science Diet when I purchased the bag. Has anyone
else tried Techni-Cal or heard of it, and do you know
how it compares to Science Diet.

    Thanks.

I am referring to the dry cat food. I am not sure if
    they produce canned cat food.

    Hi Pat,

Where is Farmer's Exchange located? Guess I didn't realize how
long it's been since I visited Framingham!

It's next to the Registry of M.V. on Pearl Street,(and
across the street from Henry's Towing, and "almost"
behind Eagles Hall, and on the same street as the VFW.)
Pearl Street is in the downtown district running
off of Franklin Street, and is about one block away from
the police station towards the railroad tracks, and a
few blocks away from The Fabric Place.

I go there alot as it has good prices on feed and equipment
    for farm animals/cats/dogs/birds/rabbits/guinea pigs/etc., as
well as garden supplies. You can also get your pets photos
taken there each spring by professional animal phtographers.
(For the photo sessions people bring EVERYTHING imaginable-
dogs and cats of course, but sheep, roosters, snakes, turtles,
birds as well). Anyway, it is a good place to know if
you are shopping in the Framingham area.
