1446.0. "House/catsitter wanted Aug. 23 - Sep. 7" by DOODAH::NEILSEN (Hot licks and rhetoric) Wed Jun 08 1988 17:45

I'm looking for someone to look after my two old Siamese cats and
my contemporary passive solar house in Brookline, New Hampshire.
I'd like someone resident while Wally and I are cavorting in Edinburgh,
    Scotland, from August 23, 1988, to September 7, 1988.

The cats are delightful: Hengist and Horsa are a sealpoint and a
chocolate point, respectively, although they are littermates. Both
of them have lived long and eventful lives, and at the drop of a
FAVOR vitamin tab, will tell you *all* about them. Neither has any
health problems at the moment, although Hengist has just returned
from a three-week unaccounted for absence that we are calling his
Outward Bound adventure. They are both indoor cats, although Hengist
will try his damnedest to get out windows and doors. He never learns.

The house is lovely too. Located in lovely rural Brookline, moments
away from the big city excitements of Hollis and Mason, it has two
bedrooms, a great room comprising kitchen, dining room, and living
room, two baths, woodstoves here and there, thousands of books,
topflight stereo equipment accompanied by records and discs, and
cable TV. It is close to Potanipo Pond, which has a small but pleasant
beach. It is ten miles west of Nashua on Rte. 130.

If you think you would enjoy two weeks in Brookline with two delightful
cats, please contact me at BOOKIE::NEILSEN. Please don't respond
to this note, but contact me directly. If you aren't interested
but know someone who might be, let me hear from you.

    Thank you very much!
