| My heavens!!! What a kitty that must be for $500.00!! Did it
come with papers or were they extra? As a rule, I'd suggest
staying away from pet store pets in general. The conditions
aren't usually the best, and the cat is apt to come with infections,
etc.
My Blue-point Siamese (and she is pure-bred, I met Mom and Dad when
I bought her) was $125.00, no papers. I got her in Spencer, MA
and the woman said it was the last litter, so that's of no help
to you. I believe someone a few notes back mentioned a good Siamese
cattery for kittens. I'd recommend that route rather than the pet
store. A pet-quality kitten from a pure-bred litter should run you
about that. Expect to pay more for show quality.
Oh, and don't forget to check the shelters and the adoptions note
in this notesfile (Note #415) for that special, older
Siamese that's looking for a home! :-) I bought my kitten and adopted
an older Siamese sibling, and they're both loves!!

I would have loved to help you. You see, I just sold my last
Siamese kitten (out of a litter of 5) to Eileen Sullivan. She
named him Stanley. This Saturday I'm going to bring him to
her.

Try the Springfield Daily News (Spfld, MA). There are always Siamese
kittens advertised every week. That's how my dad got Selina
(a Seal Point) for us.
