1225.0. "A B/W CAT FOUND IN NH" by REORG::CHESSER () Tue Mar 29 1988 17:53

    A CAT FOUND IN PENACOOK

A very sweet, long-haired, black and white cat has "found me" at
my townhouse in Island Shores Estates, Penacook, NH. It's only
just now becoming less shy about being stroked, so I'm not certain
about its sex - however, I suspect it's female. It also appears
to be fairly young, say, less than a year. I would really like
to find its owner(s) as my two cats are not overly fond of this
cat hanging around. It's been in the neighborhood approximately
two to three weeks. It talks a fair amount, even while it's munching
on food - very appreciative of conversation. It even appears to
have once had a collar on.

I've called the local animal shelter and the three Concord animal
hospitals and left its description and my name and number. I'll
be placing signs around the town and will pick up a local newspaper
just in case. If anyone recognizes or thinks they recognize my
visitor, please contact me in Nashua, NH, at 264-3049 or 884-3049,
or on REORG::CHESSER; or BOOKIE::CHESSER (a Spit Brook system).

My two will not accept another and my townhouse is too small to
permit separate housing arrangements. Here's hoping for the best.

    Susan
