943.0. "Holiday Kittens" by 16089::REHM (In mirth consists treasure...) Mon Dec 07 1987 11:13

Kittens in time for the holidays!! They'll be nine weeks old on
December 25. What nicer a present could you give a loved one (or
yourself) than a nice kitten (or two). I've got four that I'll deliver
just about anywhere in New England. (I live in Lexington, MA).

The mom is a spitting image of a "Japanese Bobtail": Calico, about
1 inch of tail. The dad? (I think it was that scared black one
in the basement of the house I moved from in Spokane, WA).

Now...these kittens are CUTE!!!!! Two are all black, have just a stub
for a tail, and the eyes are just a little slanty. One is a beautiful
Calico like her mom, but with a full tail. Then there is the black and
white one. This kitten has the most mischievous face because she (?)
has two little black spots on her cheeks, looking like she just got
into something. And, best of all, they already use their litter
    box!

Not to be picky but spaying may be more appropriate. ;^)

All in jest! But I agree with Donna about the fact that mom-cat should be
spayed.

    That's right. Call a spayed a spayed. :-D

I don't know why but I always say 'neutering' when
referring to the procedure, whether female or male.
I'm not sure that it's incorrect though, as the
dictionary definition states, "a castrated or spayed
animal". I use it generically like this.

So, not only may you be picky, you may also be
    incorrect.  (-;  (-;
