    My last cat who has since gone to kitty heaven at the age of 14
    had some truly bizarre tastes in food. She use to like Snickers
    bars, twinkies, and especially hostess orange cupcakes.
    My present cat the always awesome PRINCESS MIDNIGHT is into
    sneaking up on your plate bypassing the chicken and the steak and
    stealing your peas and corn she`ll also chow down on watermelon
    and jelly donuts.

       Thats write my cat (BANDIT) is a bologny adict. He will eat eny
    other tipe of cold meat but he will mug you for german baloney.He
    jumps up on the counter or table and hisses at me till I give him
    a piece then he lets me nere my bread....

    Mielikki likes cranberry nut bread.  I was watching TV and was holding
    a slice in my hand, I went to take a bite, and all that was left
    was the bread between my fingers.  So now, when I have a slice,
    she has a slice.
    

    Chauncey loves spaghetti and lasagna; any one know how to get tomato
    sauce stains out of long white fur??
    
    Honey loves French bread.  He'll chew right thru the bag to get
    at it.  And he loves Stella D'oro egg biscuits, too (a carboholic,
    just like his Mom!).

    Billie likes the usual "people food" items;  chicken, tuna, beef,
    liver, ham, etc., but one day I found out that she truly was a junkfood
    junkie.
    
    I was sitting on the sofa with my fiance, and we were both rather
    guiltily eating Twinkies (we were SUPPOSED to be on diets).  Billie
    kept bugging me for a sniff at this strange new food, so I held
    half out to her, saying, "Watch this--she'll hate it."  SHE WENT
    BERSERK!  She latched onto my fingers with her claws, and dug right
    into that Twinkie.  She ate it so fast that she snorted like a pig
    when she did it.  I laughed my head off, but never gave her another
    one.  ONE sugar addict in the family is enough.
    
    ..two months later, I had to take her to the vet's to get a bad
    tooth pulled.  My fiance said, "Well, I hope you're satisfied--it
    must have been the Twinkie!" :-)

    While Deuces Wild was living with us, we discovered he liked ham,
    pastrami, roast beef, and sliced turkey as do all "normal" cats.
    He also ate cantalope, peaches, plums and other veggie type foods
    if he could get at them.
    
    Don't know what he's getting at his new home.

    Sweetie likes Coffeemate.  When I make a cup of coffee, I have to
    get out two spoons, one for me and one for him.
    

    Want a really weird cat?  Gemini loves Vaseline and Ambisol.  As
    soon as she hears a vaseline jar open, or gets the slightest wiff
    of ambisol she is there screaming at you!  I have to put some ambisol
    on my hand, and when it has dried, Gemini will attack my hand till
    all the ambisol is gone!!

    Once when Mary's cat Honey was visiting my two boys for a few days,
    I discovered that they had developed a tag team approach to "snacking".
    
    One evening, I had bought a package of Yankee Doodle cupcakes when
    I was at the store (you know -- hungry in the grocery store so you
    buy stuff that will make you feel guilty in the morning..).  I placed
    the package of 3 cupcakes on the kitchen counter and proceeded to
    forget all about them.
    
    The next morning, when I got up, there were these strange chocolate
    crumbs on the living room floor.  Since Ashley (aka Pudgley) doesn't
    jump up on the counters, and since Skyler was too young and small
    to get up there yet, I surmised that Honey jumped on the counter
    and (with encouragement from Ashley and Skyler) pushed the package
    of the aforementioned Yankee Doodles off the counter, onto the
    kitchen floor, where Ashley and Skyler were ready to take the pass
    and drag the package into the living room.  Honey made his escape
    from the counter, joined in the dash across the living room, to
    the sliders.  Once comfortably settled in front of the sliding
    glass door, (they love a view when they eat..) all three proceeded
    to tear the package to shreds -- eating some of the cake, but really
    focusing their efforts on the cream filling.
    
    All this while I slept peacefully, at least they could have saved
    me one...

    We have two cats - Poki and Maddie.  Poki is a pretty fussy eater,
    but Maddie is just the opposite.  She'll try anything.  One time
    I was drinking some apricot brandy and she just had to try it -
    she loved it!  She'll also eat jello, cake, bread, dog food (we
    also have a Dobie named Coco), vaseline (loves to lick it off my
    fingers), and will drink anything that you are - soda, juice, water
    and milk and everything in between.  If I don't feed her first thing
    in the morning when I get up, she'll climb on me and cry until I
    do.  She acts as if I never feed her, even though the cats get fed
    twice a day!  

    Tigger loves mayonnaise [sp?].  Since this is good for furballs,
    she thinks she is getting a treat and I am treating a problem.

    
    
    	T.K. eats sweet pickles and he also likes Dorito's.  I think
    that he would probably eat anything that he sees me eating because
    he thinks he is hungry all the time.
    
    

    
    
        Selina will just about eat anything.  However, I
        find that she adores potato chips with bacon dip.

    	Oh, and I forgot to mention, I gave T.K. the end piece of a
    	zuchinni and he loved it, not to eat, but to play with.
    	Unfortunately, we don't know where the zuchinni went and
    	probably won't find it until we move or till the ants storm
    	our apartment.   He also hides lighters, beer caps, aluminum
    	foil balls and toilet paper rolls.  I don't know where they
    	go but Saturday we threw out all the garbage that he had since
    	we were having guests and more kept showing up.  He must store
    	them somewhere.  
    
    

    I've known for some time that Abigail, my long-haired, black and
    white, stump-tailed Manx, was fond of fruits and vegetables. She'll
    go after avocados, corn, peas, and assorted other non-carnivore-type
    things. But last night I had to laugh - I was eating corn on the
    cob, and she came over and *purred* and rubbed against me, and
    generally made out like she hadn't seen me in years, and "what was
    that interesting-looking thing I was eating?".
    
    I kept elbowing her away and she eventually settled down beside
    me, purring at full volume. After a little while I noticed her nosing
    towards the corn cob on the plate, trying to get a sneaky lick or
    two. Managing not to laugh out loud, I put the corn cob on the floor,
    and Abigail proceeded to go after it like a dog with a bone! She
    worried it, gnawed it, and kept after it until all the remaining
    fragments of corn were gone. 

    So much for being finicky...

    My cats LOVE melons, any kind, anywhere.
    
    I once left some Honeydew melon rind in the garbage disposer in
    the sink and didn't run it. I came home to find parts of it on the
    kitchen floor
    
    Any kind of melons are good: canalope, watermelon, honeydew.

One of our babies - Beau Beau - can slurp up a raw oyster as well as any
human!! and loves them so much, keeps coming back for more!!

    Asia and I love to crawl into bed and eat yogurt for dessert.  One
    spoon for mom, 2 for the baby!!
