604.0. "Introducing Obi" by PHILEM::WOODS () Wed Jun 03 1987 13:50
I have just recently found the feline note and I am enjoying all
the stories and concerns that cat owner's have.
So I will introduce my kid. Her name is Obi and she is 4 years
old. I'm not sure what type of cat she is but here is some history.
Her father is from Vermont was a short hair black and white bob
tail (very unique feature). Which Obi is also bob tailed (and I
wouldn't have her any other way, I love that short tail). Her mother
was brought home by my father in-law from the Groton, Ma town dump.
She was all black with long hair and very petite.
When we got Obi my husband wanted her because of her short tail.
I wasn't to keen on the idea because, we lived in an apartment and
we wern't supposed to have pets. But needless to say we took her
home. She was supposed to be his pet but, has ended up mine. I
call her my shadow because she follows me everywhere.
Obi has a very unique personality. She thinks that she is a person.
She eats with her paws and has to have her own paper cup for water
in the bathroom. No matter what either one of us is doing she has
to be involved. I seem to be her playmate. I get chased around
the house, we play tag your it mummy. Also, have you ever seen
a cat play fetch. She is really good at it. If you haveen't guessed
we love our nutty cat. Also, she is an indoor cat. But she does
go out with a harness and a leash to romp in the grass.
Well I guess that this introduction is long enough. It's back to
work.
