Sorry to take so long responding, I have been outrageously busy.

I am honored for Fluffy. She was ( and probably still is) a delight
and a true cat in every sense.

Fluffly came to us with her sister, Bitser (whom we still have) as VERY
small kittens -- some sole dropped them in the bushes hoping they would
find a home or ---. They stole our hearts immediately. At approximately
5 or 6 weeks, Fluffy was just a ball of pure white, long fur with seven
toes on each foot making her look even bigger. She never
grew very big, so remained that ball all the time we had her. She
adopted the poodle the day we brought them into the house. This poodle
was not a typical dog of that breed. She was very gentle and
quiet, very mothering. She and Fluffy were best of pals, often sleeping
together and always playing together.

One of Fluffy's favorite habits was to lie on my husband's chest and chew
on the buttons of his shirt. We never figured out what she was trying to
do with that behavior, but she purred away and got very lost in it. She
also liked to sleep under the covers. I would go to the bedroom and see
a lump in the bed which purred and moved. She could get into the center
of the king-size bed without disturbing the covers. Never did figure
out how she did it.

Of all the crazy and loving things she did, the funniest was feeding her
favorite friend, Jolie, the poodle. This behavior went on daily and lasted
for up to 15 minutes at a time. They both knew what the other was up to.
Jolie would stand at the refrigerator, Fluffy would be on top with the
food, and they would have a great time. First a mouthful for Fluffy, then
a pawful for Jolie. If the English setter would try to get the same
treatment, Fluffy would just turn her back and eat alone. This was
reserved for her buddy. If Bitser (the other cat) tried to eat at the
same time, hissing ensued. If Jolie wasn't there, then the two cats
ate together. Apparently this was a special time for both of them, not
to be shared with anyone.

Alas, Fluffy developed a bladder weakness which meant she could not be
our house cat. She had little control and almost never made it to the
litter box. However, I was able to find a wonderful horse farm that was
looking for a good mouser (and she was great at that) who was fixed. Last
I heard of her, she had become queen of the farm and had all the dogs and
other cats bowing to her. Jolie missed her, as did her sister and the
whole family. The only other cat Jolie ever came close to loving like
she loved Fluffy was a 2 week old kitten we found that had been
abandoned by its mother. Jolie licked and warmed the kitten for 3 days
and was lying next to it when it died. She sensed its death and cried for
it. Jolie has now gone to dog heaven and we miss her.
