| VINS is about 1.5 miles out of Woodstock center. There's a big granite church
just past the common heading west on Rt 4, take a left after the common, then a
sharp right and head up church hill (the church is now on your right as you head
up the street), VINS is a big green building on the right, can't miss it.
You'll drive right thru the Chamberlains yard just before you get there... ;^)
It's a pretty cool place to visit.
as an aside...
Just a little further up the road before you crest Church Hill theres a fork in
the road (pontinkin rd). it was at this fork that they filmed a scene from the
movie "ghost story"... the scene where John Houseman crashes his car during a
snowstorm... They had to truck in tons of snow to make it look just right.
