1305.7Change input mask?TOLKIN::ARSENAULTSun Feb 09 1997 21:549

     I'm new to using Access. I've built a database and have entered quite
    a bit of data. Now I realized one of my imput mask doesn't work for
    some of the data I need to enter. How can I change it? Or eliminate it?

    Thanks for any help,

1305.8Just try and do it (and make a backup first...)NSIC00::KLERKThunderbirds are GoMon Feb 10 1997 06:088
 Just remove the input mask. To replace it with something else depends
 on the data you already entered and whether that fits the mask.

 Otherwise try and duplicate the old table into a new one with the
 settings you do want.

    Thanks, I did try and replace it with someting else, but that didn't
    work. I didn't think to try putting the data into a new table. That
    might just work. I took the Intro class, and now I know why the teacher
    said you should really try to set it up right in the beginning, it was
    a lot easier than trying to change something later. 8-)
