196.17AIMHI::RAUHI survived the Cruel SpaMon Dec 19 1994 13:578
Hey! Why not! This is that time of year when most couple argue about
the number one thing in their relationship. And its not the
in/out-laws! Its the money! Money gets as tight as a frogs butt to
    water!

And seeing that attornies will eat the family nest egg faster than a
biscut eater. Perhaps, asking for on in your Christmas stocking might
    not be a bad idea!:)
196.18MAIL2::CRANEMon Dec 19 1994 14:066
Actually my (our) problem is neither money nor laws (in or out). Just
growing apart and nothing left in common any more. It wouldn`t be bad
if we did have a fight or two but....well this isn`t the place for
    this.

| How about something cheap and disfunctional...:)

Getting bad parents for Christmas is not high on my list of things. :)

Speaking of things for Christmas. The commercial where the guy knows
what he is getting by the shape of the package is pretty funny. The one where
the dog is gift wrapped????

Then there is the one for Bally's. The people are opening presents and
when asked what they were getting, one reply was, "A HUGE BUTT!" I nearly died!

t-shirts (co-ed naked one is the best)

golfy stuff (funny club covers, shoe bag, tees, balls)
funny xmas boxer shorts (he'll only sleep in them, but hey...)
soqs (tired of seeing the ones with the holes in them...)
    	tix to a celtics game
    	favorite candy

Well, Bri. What I got him is very nice. But what I'm going to give him
is a dummy slap upside the head.

U mean he didn't listen to all those obvious hints and get you the
perfect gift you wanted...well use one of the clubs on 'em, u know,
    give him the shaft

Well, no. I know he got me something, because I was with him when he
bought it, and it was in one of my favourite shops. I don't know what
it is, tho. It's just that, well, we were supposed to exchange gifts
Sunday night, and it never happened.

I'll feel pretty small if it turns out something awful happened that
prevented him from being at my house, but as it stands, I'm ripped.

Well, I received almost one of everything from the gift giving food
group except unmentionables. Well, I did get tennis socks and long
underwear but they aren't very intimate. In the very nice category I
received a new ski jacket and golf bag. Both which surprised me at the
generosity of the giver. I also received knives of so-so quality but
they are better'n what I have today. The new Clive Barker book was a
given as I specifically asked for that but really am really enjoying it.
Also some mundane stocking stuffer type thingies like a new razor, hand
    lotion, M&Ms, and a koozee.

The highlight for me was on the giving side, I did quite well this year.
My bro' received a new Skil circular saw, nephew - fog lights,
s-i-l - Belleek china candle stick holders, niece - matching sweater &
t-neck. Dad n' step mom received golf attire for their upcoming annual
trek to FLA as well as a poinsettia for Stepmum and the crossword of
the month club subscription renewal for dad. For once, nobody said don't
fit, wrong color or "I don't do wool". Basically made it through
    unscathed.

Is there a typo in there? I could use a cat skinner, but would want a
break on the price if -.1 is one of those.

    	Andy,

Well, according to my father, I shot a pistol when I was
five, but I don't remember it. And no, I haven't done any
shooting in a controlled environment but I just personally
don't like the thought of shooting a gun.
