Conference brat::wedding

    Well, I feel - Im a bridesmaid to my sister in July - that its the
    Bride & Grooms day and they have enought o worrya bout without hurting
    other peoples feelings.  (unintentionally of course).   People are
    invited to spend the day with them celebrating their wedding - and that
    includes the Wedding party also.  She is just having the wedding party
    on the top table.  We sat for ages wtih a big piece of cardboard and
    everyones name on a wee piece of paper backed with blutack.  Then we
    tried sitting eveyrone on the cardboard.  We think we've sorted it to
    everyones agreement.  And believe me - they have had their share of
    people wanting their tuppence worth taken into consideration.  At the
    end of the day  peopel have limited budgets, limited patience and all
    they want to do is get married.  Surely you can accommodate them for
    ONE day?
    
    I feel my sister and her other half should have whatever they want -
    they will only be doing it once - they are going to remember it
    forever.    Why add to their stress and worries.
    
    And I believe that only the wedding party should be on the top talbe. 
    If not you may aswell have everyone at the same table!!

    And in reference to the testy bride - my sister has become one of them
    lately - shes doing it in 16 weeks - but I allow her that grace cos she
    isnt normally like this and I realise that when she's married to
    Michael she#ll be back to her older self.  After all - its everyone
    else giving her hassle thats making her stroppy.
    
    
    In reference to the original note - I feel that her comment was a tad
    too strong - but she should be allowed some space to let off some
    steam.
    
    Everyone expects you to be smiling and happy all the time - you cant be
    - its one of the most stressful times of your life!!
    
    
    Personally - I aint a sucker for punishment - which is why I wont get
    married!!
