THE BAND IS GOING AS FAR AS STUDIO WORK, DEMO TAPES

HAPPENINGS OF THE BAND.....THE ONE TWO PUNCH OF
ROCK N ROLL IS HAS ARRIVED. LET THE SHOW BEGIN!!!

This present unit of K.O has been together since the begining of 1988.
The bands history goes all the way back to 1982 to the days of when the
band went by the names such as: London eves, High voltage, among others
before settling on K.O (knockout) in 1983. Guitarist Jon "J.J" Latino formed
the band with Peter Violette, Jim Hutley, and Kenny Lewecio.
As High Voltage they played school dances, outside gigs here and there.
In May of 1982, Jon and Kenny ran into Butch Bazillion as they were on their
way to a rehersal. Butch was on his way to drop off some records his born-
again Aunt wouldn't let keep in the house. Butch had been relocating to
Shrewsbury from Littleton where he had sang with the Road Rats, 1.5. Lance,
Presence, Rockslide. High Voltage had no lead vocalist and Butch was asked
to join the band.

In 1983 the name High Voltage changed to London Eve. Nobody really knows
why but maybe for lack of a better name. The band performed at E.M Loews
battle of the bands and came in 3rd out of 13 acts. Not bad for not having a
following. But after a few months, some changes were made. Jim and Kenny left
the band and were replaced by Bass player Dave Coffie and drummer Paul
Latino. Jon's brother.Peter left and the band switched to a one guitar
format.

Over the next couple of years, the band played all around the worcester
area. Included in those dates was the Summerfest *84* with mountain featuring
Leislie West.(fatman himself) People in the band came and went.Dave Coffie
was replaced by Ronnie Delecio in 84, and Paul Latino was replaced by Mark
Grasseschi in 86. Butch was in and out of the band and singing thrust and
a few other bands along the way.Jon went to school out in California's
Musical insitute of tech. for a year. 1987 was a quiet year for the band.

After surviving earthquakes, additude ajustment courses, among other things,
the band has regrouped with Paul (Crash) carcio on drums to it's present state.

Butch Bazillion Age 26 started rock n rollin at an early age of 3,and hasin't
stopped since.Just a pause here and there to pick up a speeding ticket. He's on
a first name bassis with half the state police on the Mass pike.Self taught in
drums,bass guitar.Piano,flute,keyboards,and six string guitar.Butch would sit
in on music classes so he could spend time working on guitar and drums.
While the class was working on one thing,he would be working on something else.
School was more a place for learning music than anything else as you could
always find him in the music room. 2 years at Acton-Boxboro Jr.high to 1 year
at Westboro high,to 2 years at Littleton high,Butch had fine-tuned his craft
under the watchfull eyes of Alan Alpert,Tom Christie, and Bill McManus.
One of the highlites of his school days was writing and singing a dedication
song for Littleton high class of 78. following school Butch started singing
with the Road Rats.a Band formed with Peter Callaluca, and Bob LaPorte.
Living in Worcester since 82,Butch has been rockin with K.O off and on for
the past 6 years. influences include Robert Plant,Paul McCartney,Steve Perry,
and Steve Tyler. Favorite Pastimes include Seeing how far He can drive his car
on empty.vertical smiles,The latest line, and waiting to get his license back.

Jon "J.J" Latino is like 2 people in one. Here's a guy who's one of the quietest
people around. The guy is like a hermit.Until you put a guitar his hand and
he becomes a madman.so intense with his playing there hasn't been a guitar made
that could handle the intenseness.Playing seriously since he was 15,"J.J" is
Self taught. The quiet side of him attended U.Lowell for 1 year and guitar
Institute in California.(Some say he went there to be Institutionalized)working
with some of the finest guitar players in the country. In K.O from the start,
J.J spends most of his spare time working in his 4 track lavortory writing
songs for the band.If you really want to get on the good side of J.J ,ask
him about earthquakes sometime.Influences include Gary Moore.Steve Vai,and
Randy Rhodes.Favorite pastimes include Lucky Charms,B.C.Rich guitars,Virgin-
sacrificing, earthquakes in california, and going to church on Sunday.

Ronnie Dalesio (yes I spelled it right this time) came from the school of
"hard knocks".What we mean by that is this kid loves smackin' himself in
the head with walls, beer cans, bass guitars, anything. You could say he's
a real headbanger.Must be something he never grew out of as a baby.
Self taught, the "APEMAN" ( as he is known as) started playing bass for Metalhex
in June of 83 playing clubs around central mass area until he signed up
with K.O in Augest of 84. You will not find a person who has more fun on
a stage than this guy. he's constantly jumping from one side of the stage to
the other. antagenizing the crowd on.Influences include,Steve Harris,Geddy Lee,
Rudy Sarzo,and Stanley clarke

Paul "Crash Carcio" joined the band in May and is probibly the best thing to
happen to the band .Kick ass drummer That holds the whole show together.
Is quite the showman with his flaming drum sticks, leaping over his drumset
and disappiering for times on end keepinghis singer wondering if he will come
back or have the Auburn police has taken him away.Past bands include
Frantic Rage and Cement. Pastimes include woman, woman. and more woman>

I just want to announce that.........

the shows for the 13,14,15 of april wil be the last for a long while
for K.O . with all the stuff going on with the other band splash
J.J and myself thought it would be for the best. for now. we might
be doing a tour in may to promote the album which due out in 3-4
weeks, along with a song on the soundtrack to the movie "SPEED ZONE".

We will still be writing songs in the studio but playing out is
out of the question for now.

For those who didn't know, J.J and myself went to Fla. for 2 1/2
weeks with the other band that I'm in splash. I made an album with
splash last year and we got signed by BMG/GRUDGE records who are
distibuted by RCA. I drove down to Miami march 9 ( i hate to fly)
got there 25 hours later. started rehersing with the band sat.

Practiced from 10am to 2pm got to hit the beach for 5 hrs.had dinner
and practiced from 7pm to 2am. This went on for 4 days. We stayed
the tiheti right on the beach. the water was nice. weds. we drove
up to Datona beach. got to the marriot and walked in with all our
equipment. You should've seen the look on the hotel managers face.

we spent 2 nights on the 9th floor ,then moved up to the 12th floor
suites. everything was payed for by management.( thank you J.D
WORTHINGTON) even my phone tab which came to $600.00 ( i was very
homesick) 3 meals a day. ( the best of everything) The only thing
was I couldn't go nowhere with out security. and I couldn't go anywhere
until we whapped the whole project up. We shot 2 video's. One was
for the soundtrack. We did a remake of "dizzy miss lizzy" for the
movie. We had seen shot of us arriving at the airport. running off
the plane to a waiting limosine. They addvertised the video shoot
on the radio so there was about 7-800 people there. The production
crew passed out signs for them to hold. had them rush the limo.

We had a police escort from the airport to the marriot. The cops
were wicked cool. I mean this was better than a presidental escort
They had 6 police on motacycles and two cop cars blocking off traffic
through the city. there was about 1000 people waiting at the marriot.
They filmed us going into the hotel to the elevator. Did some
shot of us at the rooms. The next day they had us set up at the
701 south club to do a set. Leon wilkenson and Artimus Pyle from
Lynnard Skynard.( I'm teerible at spelling) set in with us at the
end of the show we Played "Sweet home Alabama" "Call me the breeze"
and "freebird". That was unbelieveable playing with those two.

We did a show on top of the 5th floor roof of the marriot did the
lip sync for dizzy and played live for the rest of the set to huge
crowd on the beach. We filmed the other video at Ron Rice's mansion.
He is the Founder/owner of Hawaiian tropics suntan lotion. And we
had 12 of his models in the the Video Nice looking girls but they
are so fake and about as sharp as a bowling ball.

We were invited to 2 parties at his place .Very boring. stuck-up
    people.

Did a few radio and t.v interveiws 3 shows. did an signing session
for the movie on a booze cruise who by the way local boys "the
    neighborhoods" playing on it.

we stayed in Datona for 10 days. I met Cheap trick,Sam Kennison,Hall
and oates Vixen.(YUM!) drove back to miami to get my car and
left friday morning . Got into Worcester 23 hrs.later.

So that is what I did on my winter Vacation.

I talked to the record co. President about K.O and he wants me to
get some tapes to him. and also about all you guys too. I told him
about the metal notes file and about the crunchberries because I
had the crunchberies T-shirt on for Both Video's.

So if anyone's got any tapes they want me to shop for them you know
where to find me. I enjoyed the trip But Was homesick in the worse
way at times. Thank you C.J and Francine for the phone Conversations
and incouragement you both gave me.

We might be doing a show in a couple of weeks in palm springs ,and
there might be a tour starting in May. but Alot of stuff is still
up in the air. But in the meantime I think we might be on our way.

orginals and are in the finale mix down process (whatever that means).

etc. He's one to criticize, remember the FAG,

Changing ones mind is a direct result of being a married man.
;)
I partied with Butch while in Seattle. Heard a NEW Knock
Out tape with JJ on guitar. Damn, that kid wails. Guess he's
buddies with Paul Gilbert - class mates no less.
