Anyone remember the New York band the RODS.It was a 3 piece band
from Rochester. These are the albums that I bought when they were
    around.

                    THE RODS

                    WILD DOGS

THE RODS IN THE RAW (LIVE)

                    LET THEM EAT METAL

Does anybody know what happened to these guy's?They belted it out
for a while and disappeared.I think they were more popular in the
U.K. than in the U.S..Anybody know who I'm talking about?

    I have "Wild Dogs".

Good kick ass album. Wicked cover on it.
519.2Not lately, but...CSC32::G_HOUSEDon't POINT that thing at me!Thu Mar 30 1989 14:1313
Yeah, I remember the Rods! I never heard any of their music, but I
used to work at a place in Phoenix and one of the girls I worked with
told me her brother was the guitar player for the Rods. She seemed to
think they played music I'd like.

I looked for the album (they only had one at that point) and could only
find it as an import. Being a broke college student at the time, I
didn't buy it (since it was twice the price of any of the non-import
albums) 'cause I'd never heard any of the music.

    Did they fizzle or what?

Excellent DR. Quest, excellent.I guess im not the only person who
ever heard of them. They were an American band but recorded overseas.
They really kicked ass.The name of the lead guitarist/singer was
David (Rock) Feinstein. The best album was Wild Dogs. Some of the
tunes off of that album were:

                          Hot to Trot
                          Wild Dogs
                          Violation
                          The night lives to rock

The first album was excellent too:

Nothing going on in the city
                          Rocker
                          Ace in the Hole

These albums are EXTREMELY hard to find these day's.But if you get
a chance to buy one, pick it up.These guy's were excellent.

That doesn't sound like the right name (for the person I worked
with), perhaps I was wrong about what he played. What were the
    other two guys names?
