There is a ton of EP stuff. Re-mix-city man...alot of stuff
I've been sifting through. All of it insane.

What up with Maxim's eyes????!! Seen them on Mtv's 'Fashionably
Loud'...they did 3 tunes, short and nasty..you could easily tell
the models doin the runway thing were horrified.

I have got to see this gig when they hit Boston in June.

The singer for this band is a geek.
No comment on the music, except that I like Firestarter, but for the
annoying accent (I'm a fiyastatuh, twisted fiyastatuh).
Really dug the tune till I saw the video.
Trying WAY too hard to look like something... apparently a walking museum
of all fashion that is sh!t since 1980. What a mess, man. He's like
Johnny Rotten dressed like Cindi Lauper.

That's why I'd rather not watch videos, so I can concentrate on
the music and not what some director thinks the music is saying.

Unless, of course, it's to see Susanna Hoffs in a moment of
extreme boinkableness.

There are some clever bits here and there, but for the most part
you hit the nail right on the head.

Good point. Since I hardly ever watch the tube, the music doesn't get
spoiled. Same as the movies, you hear a song at a certain part of a
movie and the song will stick with that certain memory of that movie.
That ruins it for me(if I like the song).
1187.9MRPTH1::16.121.160.248::slablabounty@mail.dec.comWed May 14 1997 10:2610
That works in reverse also ... I love the movie "Cry-Baby", and
have seen it a few times, and there are some great songs in it. So I
bought the soundtrack. While the songs are still great, they sort of
lose something without the context of the movie.

Watching Amy Locane "sing" "Please Mr. Jailer" is definitely a
pleasure. Hearing Rachel Sweet sing it is still good, but not as
good.

The Prodigy show was monday night, Avalon, Boston MA. In a nutshell,
this unit SLAMS! But man...the show was way to short. Also, I
have no idea what the 'house-DJ's' were doing...they spun some _lame_
tunes, making you want to sit. Wrong move.

Good night, moved HARD, felt good. Maxim wasn't in cat-eye
mode...he still looked possessed as did Keith (the "Firestarter" dude).
These guys freak on stage, really pumping up the croud pretty much
non-stop...they definitely got the MC-thing down. Volume could
    have been louder I think..

They extended "Voodoo People" for a bit, I thought it was the best
tune they did. "Breathe" was hot too...and of course, "Firestarter".

Latest buzz: a Chemical Brothers/Prodigy tour late summer/early
    fall.

Ya great show! Come to find out that a friend of a friend that
worked the prodigy show said, prodigy was 2 1/2 hours late! And the
sound checking took longer than they expected. But all-in-all it was a
pumping show, packed house, and alot of sweat. Although the in house
DJ's (or whatever they are called) were horrible.

an hour and a half...good thing it wasn't January.

So I take it there other stuff isn't like " I'M A FIRE STARTA!"
    					       " I'M A FIRE STARTA!"
    						 " I'M A FIRE STARTA!"
    						 " I'M A FIRE STARTA!"

My first impression was that he should be a "BULLET STOPPA"
with his head, pref. a 44mag super mag!

Maybe I'll wait and see what the rest of the album sounds like...

Both Warrant AND Skid Row are shite! ;-) (That's for ian, and if he

Skid Row are slightly less shite than Warrant but shite all the same!

...have you heard the new Prodigy song?well,it's just the same as the
old one!Buy the "firestarter" single and play it on repeat on yer cd
player....it's a damn sight cheaper than buying the whole album!

Yo Ian...don't ya want to fix-up your 'Paul with a Roland GK-2
pick-up, and the V-Guitar thing so you can whip off some slammin
techno sounds?!? ..just kidding, I'm looking into this deal
right now for the very same purpose if you can believe it.
