    IME sucks!  It's pretty sad when the best member of the band is the
    percussion player!!
    
    Also, they have shitty attitutdes.  They opened on the early Dream
    Theater tour dates -- the first night, the singer was pissed off 
    cuz no one was stage diving (even though they were moshing).  Called
    everyone a pussy for not stage diving ... I guess he didn't notice
    the wall of 6'4" 350lb body guards waiting to pummel somone for just
    such an act.  On the second night, DT was playing at their alma mater,
    Berklee COllege of Music.  The place was musicians SRO!  When IME came
    on, everyone sat down and LISTENED.  The singer got pissed off again,
    touting "playing to musicians sucks" and "this is the best painting
    (referring to audience) I have ever played to".  They were booed off
    the stage for their shitty 'tude.
    
    No surprise they didn't last long on the DT tour!

    Oh! sorry i must be noting in the wrong file.Someone mentioned in the
    guitar notes that this notesfile had no attitude.
    
    

    I was at teh Dream Theater gig that I Mother Earth was playing at and
    their attitude was less that professional.I also think they were the
    wrong band to support DT,totally different styles.IME would do better
    in a club rather than playing to the Berkley people.They got a response
    that they didn't like but it wasn't that type of crowd to leap off the
    stage on top of each other.

    Wow,I didn't know they were sporting such attitudes.Know wonder a few
    people have a hate on for them.I've never caught them live,but i did
    hear a good review about them from a friend of mine who seen them at a
    local bar.Not a bad Cd (imo) the guitar slapping stuff was neat.

    Let me clarify that I think IME _could_ be a good band, IF they grew
    up and lost the "bad boy" attitude thing...  Some of their music really 
    jammed, but they lose big time points on delivery.

     IME Rocks.  Who cares about their attitute?  My CD doesn't give me
    attitude, just good tunes..
    
     If people judged how good bands were by their personal attitude, we'd
    all have to throw out half our collections, because mose would suck.:)

    look -- attitude may not be important for YOU -- but my $$$ are
    supporting these band through CD purchases and attending live
    perforamances ... without the support on either end, the band is 
    SOL (not me, personally, affects them, but these sales as a whole).
    
    I'm not going to want to financially support some band that rags on you
    when you pay to see them -- personally, I'm not into that sort of abuse.
    My 0.02 is that most other people would be turned off by it as well.
    
    THAT is where attitude matters imho.

    I'm new to the notes file and I noticed this one on IME. I caught their
    show last winter at Roxanne's and it was wild. I got to meet the band
    back stage and except for the singer, the band members were great. I
    have to say that if you never saw them live, you miss a great show.

    IME ain't too popular. Oh well, we like 'em and thats what counts. Over

    Saw these guys last night in Ottawa (Thanks again Davey) and the kicked
    ass!  The didn't play mush off of Scenery and Fish but they did do a
    lot of Dig.  I think I remember what happened last night too!  Edwin
    has kinda got that Layne Staley look now...and some real bad glasses!

Did they do any Rush/Victor covers?

    I know they didn't do the popular one from "Victor" (can't remember the
    name right now cause another tune's playin' in the background)  but
    they may have!  But I think 70% was from "Dig" and the rest from
    "Scenery and Fish"!

    I'll vouch for that one too.....he was way too freakin' hammered.

    Well it looks like ol' Davey has to bring the boys from the brink yet
    again...... ;^)
    
    The only played 3 tunes from the new album. The rest was from 'Dig'.
    They only played 11 or 12 songs (due to time). Yes, I remember it all,
    even tho I was trapped in the pit, tossin' people around (sorry Paully,
    didn't mean for you top get hurt there, I thought you were someone
    else)
    Soon as I saw Edwin jump down in front of the stage, I clear a path
    towards him.... got to shake his hand and slap him in the head!!! COOL!

    This sucks!  Edwin, the lead singer of IME is leaving the band.  The
    other three members are continuing on, but not with Edwin.  However,
    Edwin will be sticking around long enough to complete their "Scenery &
    Fish" tour, whichs ends with a multiple venue concert called
    "Edgefest".
