891.0. "Poor Boys, The" by SBPEXE::DOUGLASS (Chewing on life's gristle .....) Fri Oct 30 1992 12:02

    I can't find any mention of the Poor Boys in here ... are they new ?

    I heard a few tracks from their latest album called "Pardon Me" but it
    is only available on import here in England at the moment and is due
    for release in a couple of weeks.

    One track sounded like the Black Crowes, another like the Four
    Horsemen and they were good !

    Does anyone have a history, discography or dirt on these guys ?

    I'm borrowing a friend's copy of this. It's really starting to grow
    on me a lot. Good bar-room rock. They just gotta delete the middle
    two "ballads." If you like the 4 Horsemen, Crowes, Sattelites, you
    should like this.

    Not to be confused with the Po' Boys, another band.

    I heard a song from these guys called "Brand new America" and thought
    it to be damn fine.I think I would wait until I had heard another
    couple of songs before I bought the album first!

    That's 1 of 4 good songs on the CD! I wish these guys would come
    around here - bet they're better live than recorded.
