It's "Goodbye to Romance" by Ozzy, and it's an excellent choice for a
depressing tune. I'd also say your other choices are good and would go
    for me as well.

       *Living Monstrosity*

Every day blows by in the world of corrupt addiction
With life comes pain withdrawals and deformation
Breaking the mold of human appearance
  Contorting bodies with chemical interference.

The guilty one, innocent she now cries
A life of hell, better off to die
Born without eyes, hands and half a brain
  Being born addicted to cocaine.

    Living monstrosity
A freak of life, they'll always be
    Never knowing love or hate
    Only pain the drug creates.

Some say she's naive, she's a stupid bitch
Some say to forgive, guilty she should die.

The beginning of the end begins at birth
Breeding masses of twisted screaming flesh
An example we should make out of,
  these creators of misfortune
A serious crime that should not be forgiven.

Warfare, a promise to eliminate mankind
The planet as we know it, taken by demented mind
Warheads produced to exterminate the earth
This sacrifice will lead us to our death, no rebirth
No one has the power to declare this world to die
Voting and and electing the right to crucify
Time of turmoil have decided what to do?
No need for common knowledge, we're through

    World explosion
    Mass obliteration
    ... of a race.

Forced to live here day by day through day by day
We dread the fear of living in the afterworld spirits of the dead
Thoughts of nuclear holocauts that drive our world insane
Women and children forced and left to kill.

Through daily hibernation, mannage to survive
Sifting through, they must be found, extinction we provide.

    Purify - the unholy land
Extinction - the so called master race
Crucify - the preachers of this hate
Liquify - the minds of those create.

My fav for getting out of a depressing mood was always the live version
of "Dazed and Confused". This is the 24 minute one on "The Song
Remains The Same" soundtrack. The first part drags along, letting me
get into it in my down mood, then it builds and lifts me up during the
long solo section and I feel much better at the end.

If I try and listen to something that's upbeat when I'm really down, I
find I just can't do it. I end up turning it off 'cause I can't get
into it. That's why that one works so well, because it starts off kind
of depressing and builds out of it!

"Mother" - Pink Floyd, as a matter of fact, the whole album "The Wall", and
"Momentary Laps of Reason".

Anything by Rush, especially "Hold Your Fire" - "Time Stands Still".

Anything by Styx starting w/Grand Illusion up to Kilroy Was Here - "Come Sail
Away", "Pieces of Eight".

Kenny G. Silhouett (sp?)

35C4PE by Journey "Mother"-something on second side.

"Fight the Good Fight" Triumph. "~~~The days grow shorter and the nights are
getting long. Feels like we're running out of time~~" and "~~The good book
says it's better to give then to receive. I tried my best to do my part~~"
have got to be one of the all time favorite of mine. And also "Hold On" off of
"Just a Game".
