He's also noted for many greater things than working with Joe :')

This will be his third album. His first one is called Radio Free
Albemuth and I can't remember the name of the second one but I have it
at home. I also have an album called Western Vacation which he is on
along with Steve Vai and other ex-Zappa musicians.

Stu's greatest work was when he played with David and David (you know,
    "welcome to the Boomtown"...)!

[Nothin' like reviving a dead thread, eh?]

I saw Stuart Hamm with Joe Satriani at the Paradise (Boston) back
    around '87 or whenever.

Incredible only begins to describe his playing.

I have the "Radio Free Albemuth" CD and will probably pick up some
of his other releases as well.

Anybody know what he does when he's not working on his solo projects?
Is he still working with Satch? (Recent lack'o'funds has prevented
me from picking up the new Satch release. Soon. . .)
