Directions to Bunratty's:

From the North:
---------------

Take your favorite way into Boston and get onto Storrow Drive heading West.
Take the Allston exit (the Guest Quarters hotel will be on your left). At the
top of the ramp, take a left towards Allston.

Go through a few sets of lights, and over your first bridge. There will be a
set of lights with a self-serve gas station (Merit?) on the right hand corner.
Keep going straight thru, and thru the next set of light, then up and over a
small bridge.

At the bottom of the other side of the bridge (at yet another set of lights),
take a left onto Harvard Avenue. Bunratty's is few blocks up on the left (just
a little bit after the intersection with Riley's Roast Beef on the corner, and
just before the large liquor store that is there).

From the West:
--------------

Take the Mass Pike towards Boston. Get off at the Allston/Cambridge exit (its
a left hand exit, with a $.25 toll). Take the ramp towards Allston, then
follow the instructions above in the second and third paragraph.

I can't recall the specific directions to the Campus Club but this
club has been booking some good shows lately and apparently filling
the gap void by the Living Room demise (although I heard they were
moving to a bigger place but no sign of new Living Room yet).

Yes, it's on Pine Street and if you know where that truck stop,
actually it's a truck called ? it's a few blocks in that part
of the downtown more of a bit towards the more commercial part
of the town. That's probably more confusing than anything!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Steve,

The easiest way is as follows:

Take the Mass Pike to the Allston, Cambridge exit. It's a left
lane exit so watch out. I think it's exit 18, but don't count on
it. Once you go through the toll booth the road will curve to your
left. There will be a sign that says bear off to the right for
    Cambridge. Take that right.
You will then come down to two sets of lights back to back.
There will be a hotel on your immediate right called Quarter-House
something or other. Go through the first set of lights.
****Make sure you are in the far right hand lane before you get
to the second set of lights*****
At the second light take a right and stay to your left once you
make the turn because the road splits. You will go under a flashing
red sign that is a warning for tall trucks. You will then be merging
onto Storrow Drive West. ****Be careful, Lots of stupid drivers here***
Next you want to look for the Kenmore Square exit. Take this
exit and at your first set of lights take a right, once you take
the turn again stay to your left because the road splits. Go straight
on this road and it will bring you into the heart of Kenmore Square.

BU bookstore and Narcissus will be on your right and there will
be this big cement garage on your left which is for T-buses. Get
in the far left lane right next to this T-bus garage. You are going
to take a left and go between a Pizzeria Uno's and a Shawmut bank.
****See Map below**** You wil go up and over a bridge. You will
see the lights for Fenway on your left. The parking a previus reply
was refering to will be on your immediate right. If you take a
left down the road between The Cask (a bar on the left corner) and
Fenway Park then CITI is down towards the end on your left. It's
a big purple thing, you can't miss it.

    Good Luck and have fun!

Easy...take rt 290 east...get off at the exit for Northboro CTR.
Main St. in Northboro is also RT 20. Chets will be about 1 mile
out of the center of town, ON rt 20, on the left hand side, just
AFTER the White Cliffs Rest (which will also be on your left).

Stay on Storrow Drive for about a 1/4 mile, take the right, I think
it says Boston University exit. At the end of this street, take first
right and that's Commonwealth Ave, about a 1/4 mile you'll see

	Ole mail...

I looked in note #269 in H_M to see if there already was directions
for Rockpile because they'd probably be better than mine but I didn't
	see any.

	From route 128 north:

Take exit for route 1 south and continue on route 1 until
you come to route 97 heading west. It's past the Sears
shopping center, Hilltop Steak House, and about less than
a mile is the 97 exit. Also, I think there's an amusement
park, a Flintstones like pre-historic monster the exit on
your right and over to the left on the hill is Wey Lous (SP),
		restaurant.

When you're on route 97 you will see Rockpile actually
the sign for the Palace or whatever it's called more
like a formal wedding type place out front. The entrance
to Rockpile is in the rear, right most entrance if memory
		serves.

from 495 north, head to route 93 south exit and then from there
	pick up route 128 north.

From route 2 east, head towards 128 north exit.

    Brian,

I assume you'll be coming from *beautiful* Marlboro. Easiest way:

    * Take Mass Pike to Boston.

    * At the very end, take I-93 North (SE Expressway)

    * Get off at the "North Station/Causeway St." exit

    * Take a left at the bottom of the ramp

    * Boston Garden is immediately on your RIGHT HAND SIDE (you can see it
sitt at the end of the exit ramp)
14.6969 repliesICS::BUCKLEYLose yourself and gain a friendFri Dec 11 1992 13:1823
PS - If you miss the "North Station/Causeway St." exit:

    * continue on, take a LEFT at the fork (I-93 goes north to Andover,
and you wanna go left towards Boston).

    * Take the Exit for "Storrow Drive".

    * This exit has a fork in it as well. Left goes into a Tunnel
and becomes Storrow Drive -- DO NOT GO THIS WAY!!! You want to
bear to the right at this fork (which is actually 'straight').
Just stay in the right hand lane, so you can easily do this.

This will bring you to a light, with the Mass Registry/Charles St.
Jail on your immediate right. This is a "one way circle. Take a
left at the light. At the next intersection/lights, don't
get confused (easy to do here) you want to take a left. Right
will bring you to SOmmerville (bleck), and straight is Storrow
      Drive.

Take a left -- you will see another fork. Left is a ramp back onto
I-93 ... DON'T take this!! Go to the right of this ramp, this
is (I believe) Merrimac Street -- follow it straight down, the Garden
will be directly in front of you.

Ok kids, here is how to get to the Escape Club/Chapter 11 at Salisbury
    Beach:

Rt 495 North -> RT 110  Amesbury/Salisbury exit.

Follow this (you will pass a dunkin donuts and mc donalds on the left
within 60 seconds of leaving the exit -- otherwise its the wrong one).

You will eventually bear around to the left (a road will split off straight,
stay left) and come to a set of lights (they may just be blinking lights).
On your left will be a cumberland farms. Go straight across.

Follow this straight all the way into Salisbury Center. (ie - it dead
ends at a small loop with pizza places, an amusement park, and the beach all
around it.

Park someplace, walk to the end of the loop toward the beach, take a right and
"Escape/Chapter 11" will be on the right about 50-100 yards down.

Take the Mass Pike to the Allston, Cambridge exit. It's a left lane
exit so watch out. I think it's exit 18, but don't count on it. Once
you go through the toll booth the road will curve to your left. There
will be a sign that says bear off to the right for Cambridge. Take
    that right.

You will then come down to two sets of lights back to back. There
will be a hotel on your immediate right called Quarter-House something
or other. Go through the first set of lights.

****Make sure you are in the far right hand lane before you get to the
    second set of lights*****

At the second light take a right and stay to your left once you make
the turn because the road splits. You will go under a flashing red
sign that is a warning for tall trucks. You will then be merging onto
Storrow Drive West. ****Be careful, Lots of stupid drivers here***

Next you want to look for the Kenmore Square/Fenway 1S exit. Take
the Fenway 1S exit (directly after the Kenmore Sq. exit). This is
a ramp which goes up and off to the right. After you come off the
ramp, stay in the RIGHT HAND LANE! There will be a set of lights
a block down, and the road will bear off to the right ... BEAR OFF
TO THE RIGHT (this is Boylston Street). Follow road down, the
Fenway Gardens will be on your left. At the next lights, proceed
straight ahead. Almost immediately after is a 2nd set of lights
(Gas Station on right and left hand sides). Go straight through
these lights. At the NEXT set of lights (just past McDonalds on
left, Howard Johnson motor lodge on right) will be a set of lights.
    TAKE A RIGHT.

You'll see FENWAY PARK on your right. Avalon and Axis are on the OTHER
SIDE of Fenway, so you can start looking for a parking space now, or
you can continue to the end of the street. Take a RIGHT, and the you
next RIGHT will be Landsdowne Street.

14.103Parking a Worcester AUDHYEND::T_HOLLANDDV8!Thu Apr 08 1993 13:2818
The parking at the New Aud in Worcester bites!! There is one small
munincipal lot behind the Aud and that's about it. If I were you I'd
get onto Highland St (which runs right next to the Aud and intersects
Main St. in Wormtown) and drive towards Park Ave - keep ducking up the
side streets and try your luck there - it's a short walk and you're
better off there than parking downtown and making the hike to the Aud.
Look at the street signs to see if parking is restricted in any way -
nothing sucks worse than getting out of a great show only to find a
ticket on the old beast - even worse - a missing vehicle that has been
towed to the Worcester impound lot and needs cash $$$ to get it out!

    Good luck and enjoy!

If you're hungry after the show stay on Highland St and go to the
Alcopulco mexican restaurant - you can BYOB and they are open
    very late.

From the Nashua area: RT 3 south to the Lowell Connector.

OK, here are directions to Disc Diggers in Somerville (Davis Square).

Take Rt. 93 towards Boston. Get off at the exit for Rt. 16 in Medford. At
the bottom of the exit, bear right. Go straight through the set of lights
that is right in front of you (so the gas station is on your left), and then
follow this street for about a mile (through several sets of lights) until
it ends in a rotary (right near Tufts University).

Take your *fourth* right off the rotary. It should be just about straight
across from where you got onto the rotary.

Follow this street into Davis Square (about 1/2 mile). (At the set of lights
there, you'll see the Somerville Theatre on your right.) Go through these
lights and bear slightly left (just follow the flow of traffic). Take your
next left (there's a liquor store on the corner), go up about a block, and
take another left. Disc Diggers is right there on your right.

I'll try and draw a crude map of Davis Square here:

liquor
store Somerville
----X-----<-----------<------ Theatre
      | \
Park | \
Here! | Mike's \
---------X--->------------->--  O lights
	Disc |
	Diggers |
		     T Station | Store 24
				|
				|
				|
				|
				| COMING IN FROM ROTARY

On that little sidestret that you go up, there's some public parking. It's
best to park there, and then walk around the corner to Disc Digger's. A
lot of times there's no parking spaces right in front of DD. If you miss
the parking lot or Disc Diggers, just go around the whole circle again,
no problem....

	RE: Vinny

ACK. You're right. Goes to show I wasn't fully awake when
    	I wrote them.

    	Below are the modified directions.

    	tigg~~~

First take note that there's no real easy way to get in and
out of Fitchburg. I'll list two ways. One is to go Route
12, which can involve an high amount of traffic, I think, and
a somewhat roundabout way using South St.

From the Worcester area take I-190 North to Route 2 West.
Once on Route 2 take the exit for Route 12 heading toward
Fitchburg. Follow this road through two sets of lights
(first light is near Marshall's, second light is near
Riverside Apts.) to a third set of lights. (small car lot
on your right, a school diagonally across the street).

At the third set of lights take a right which will put you
onto John Fitch Highway. Go straight through four sets of lights
(1st set is before a bridge, 2nd set is at Carol's Dairy
Bar, third set is at a Sunoco station; fourth set is at
an athletic field). The Civic Center will be shortly
after the athletic field and street hockey rink. It's
got a huge planetarium dome atop it.

Depending on the traffic.. you could take the South St./
Fitchburg exit instead (next one after the two for route
12 - one heading toward Leominster, the other toward
Fitchburg). At the end of the ramp take an immediate left
and go down South St. past Raffles (if that's what it's
still called!) on the left. At the intersection take a
left into traffic and then your next right at a Sunoco
station on the corner. Follow this street down the hill
where that school will be on your left. Go straight
through the lights and follow directions above from
    	the four sets of lights.
