    GOD on the drums! Alex, technical, smecknical, I still am NOT impressed
    by him, yes he can do a funky kinda style-beat, speed, yeah, lighting
    drums on fire - whoopie doopie! He did it when I saw them back in '79
    out in Springfield Ma. on their VH II tour. I even forgot who opened
    for them back then....but I will say there were several cuties right in
    front where we dashed to upon opening the doors that night! I will
    NEVER EVER take GA tickets on the floor again! )@*#&$*% sardine can
    that night! Brutal! Started at the VERY front dead center, ended up
    about 40 feet back (still dead center though)!

    honestly say it was the sweatiest concert I was ever at...even worse

    I am a fan of earlier Marillion w/Fish aka Derek Dick. I still haven't
    warmed up to steve hogarth, and the rest of the band are excellent as
    well, especially the drummer, I like his style/playing on Misplaced
    Childhood, and I got a video of them live at lorelei(sp). Decent vid,
    but Fish looked like he was getting a bit of a beer gut! ;-)

    it was the sweatiest cuz it was a small place(The Barrowlands)which
    only holds about 2.5k people and there was about 4k in the place all
    wearing their winter woolies.When the band hit the stage,the place 
    went bananas and turned into a lunatic asylum!I ended up being about

    Hmm, I can't think of a really sweaty show I have been to, unless you
    consider Rollins Band back a few years ago at The Channel, Hank walked
    right by us like 3 ft. away! He gets on stage, black shorts, that was
    it! This is in November and the Channel never impressed me with keeping
    it toasty inside! Cool show, STP opened up for them! This was right
    before STP got real popular too! Funny how things go! Rollins was cool
    though! Half the time I couldn't see him due to him bent over raging
    into the microphone!!!! ;-)  
    
    Mike, who was very hammered after that show and had to drive someone to
    Maynard, then on to my place in Methuen! Almost 2 hrs later I got home
    and it was raining cats and dogs on the highway to boot! ;-(
