It's offical. The group got its' name from the porn star
Tracy Lords. I heard this on the radio on WHJY. What a
name. I bet it makes Tracy Lords feel pretty good to have
             a group named after her..

So, is that Lord Tracy who does "Goin' Out With the Boys"?

I heard that song on WAAF (untamed radio!!) this morning,
but the idiot DJ didn't say who it was.

From what I heard, I liked it.

    	I got the album Friday afternoon ... bought 2 CD's for $30
and had a $25 gift certificate, so it cost me $2.50 per.

This album is fun ... tracks like:

    	"Piranha"
    	"3.H.C. (Three-Headed Chick)"
    	"She-Man Blues"

are all real short, but funny!!

"Goin' Out With the Boys" and "East Coast Rose"

are good ... good (but not technically difficult) guitar acro-
batics in the intro to "East Coast Rose".

I've heard "Out With The Boys" a few times now, and I think its pretty hot!
They sound (on this song) like as early 80's bar band (ie. Joe Perry Project
or something like that), and that's OK by me.

I'll have to listen for more tracks before I pick up the album though - I've
heard too many bands lately that have one killer song and the rest of the
album bites!

I taped the Banger's Ball this weekend and saw "Out With The Boys"
for the 1st time - that song burns ! Very simple and straight ahead,
but it definitely ROCKS. I don't know if I'd buy the CD though,
after reading the previous replies, but I'll probably wear a hole
in the VCR tape ! Besides, me and the boys cdan learn the tune
and grab the words from there anyway ....

Well, I keep forgetting to enter a review of The Channel
show on 3/10, so here it is.

These guys cranked!! Alot of energy ... all the members
[except for the drummer] were all over the stage, whether
it be rolling [guitarist], jumping [vocalist, bassist, and
    	guitarist again].

The lead singer sounded fantastic ... not exactly like the
album, but very understandable. The bassist supposedly
came over here from France about a year ago or so, and it
supposedly his 21st birthday that night. He was f******
great!! Good bass lines in the songs, and he also did a
5-7 minute solo in the middle of the set.

The guitarist is nothing to write home about, but he was
    	impressive all the same.

They did basically the whole first album [the crowd went
wild when they heard "This is a song about a fish!!"], and
a few off of the new album they're working on. Some of the
new stuff they played was kind of slow, but they had a cou-
    	ple faster ones too.

All in all, a great show by these guys. I'd love to see
    	them again sometime, somewhere.
