710.0. "Backing/back-up vocals" by MILKWY::SLABOUNTY (Wonder Twin powers ... activate!!) Wed Oct 18 1989 09:54

Who does back-up singing for who?

I don't mean "The First Edition" singing for Kenny Rogers,
either ... or anyone who normally sings with someone else.
I mean someone who does backing vocals for an entirely dif-
    	ferent band?

It must be a remake cause the original version
was recorded when AXL was about 8 or 10 years
                                                                   old!

    Re: A.Cooper/A.Rose

Yup, I'm positive. It's probably re-mixed with A.R's vocals included.

re: Axl Rose/Alice Cooper

Alice re-recorded "Under My Wheels" with Axl and Slash for the soundtrack to
the movie "Decline of Western Civilization - Part II - The Metal Years". Of
course, Axl was still a little babe when the original was recorded.

Yea... I caught the video on the HBB a few weeks back.
Apparently, Axl was in the area and asked who was recording
at suchandsuch studio. When he heard it was Michael
Monroe (a big influence from his days with Hanoi Rocks),
he stopped by and got up on stage to jam with him.

However - he only appears in the video and NOT on the
    	album itself.
