Yo gang, Over the turkey weakend I had the chance to hear a new
CD that I taped to listen to on my way to Atlanta. I taped in dolby
"C" and the results were phonominal(sp?). Anyway the name of the
band is SMASHED GLADYS and I've got to tell you these guys (and
girl) are fantastic. The name of the CD is social intercorse. Has
anyone else heard this band? Is this there first album? Has anyone
seen them? ect,ect.............

Come on gang, I know this ain't the greatest band in the world
but I gotta tell ya they do crank. Legs up is one of the best tune
I've heard in a while.
Someone please help me increase my vocabulary and tell me what

Daniel Webster defines poseur as follows:
Poseur - a trade off between talent and looks. Pretty boys. Bands
that have the sole intent of selling records to teenage girls
blossoming into women. Examples: BonJovi, Poison, Winger, Whitesnake,
and the like. Often good musicians are buried under all the glitter
and styling gel. Examples: Richie Sambora, Vivian Campell, Rudy
Sarzo, Lemmy (whoops, how the h*ll did that get in there ...)

Well I guess I'll have to listen to all the lyrics again and
see if Smashed Gladys fits the discription. But I'm pretty sure
that they don't. I'll admit that some it is kinda mainstreamis,
like seventeen going on crazy. But the music itself seems to be
sincere Rock&Roll. Maybe I'll listen to them one time sober.

debut album. It was average IMHO.
